As a photographer myself, I'm reluctant to let my kids use my ' good ' cameras , so this was great value for my kids to play around with especially with the summer and holidays coming up. First of all it feels and works like a very high quality instant / point and shoot camera. The function buttons once you get to know them ( read the instructions ) are easy to use and my 9 year old has got the hang of it quite quickly. In bright light the chrome metal buttons are quite tricky to see, but after a while you get to know what each one does without having to read them. Comes with a USB ead to upload to your computer and that is a very easy process to. The 4 x digital zoom is really good ( see photos where I've taken 2 from the same position ) I've taken still photos and also videos with this camera ( some examples included below ) . I haven't tried out the underwater capabilities yet ..... I'm waiting to get to a warmer place and warmer pool to check that out , so that will be fun. Basically my kid loves his new camera , I would expect that it's quite hard to break even if he dropped it as its sturdy enough and has a wrist strap included. I'd much rather my kids using this that borrowing my iPhone to take photos and videos - especially around a pool. Just dont forget that a Micro SD card is not included and you will also need 2 x AAA batteries.

Bought this for my children on holiday and it is easy to use and seems sterdy but the picture quality isn’t great but it did keep them amused.

I have only just got round to using this after purchasing last summer. the camera failed after the first day while snorkelling in turkey. Salt water penetrated the battery compartment and now the camera will not work. I would recommend a go pro instead.

Bought for my 10yr granddaughter. She’s going to Australia next year

Great for a kid who has a habit of chucking electronics into the bath. Tiny sensor and low quality images. In hindsight, not a good introduction to photography for my daughter as it is very limited. It’s not worth using unless you are outside on a bright but slightly overcast day. She barely uses it now because it generally disappoints on image quality and can’t cope with anything that moves.

I use this when open water swimming. It actually takes really good pics & very simple to use - you need an SD card which isnt provided.I have a chromebook which I found a little difficult to get the pics off the sd card, but still a great camera.

Very hard to use. Don't work without sim card at all. Bad picture quality, very hard to use. Just a kids toy
