Excellent little computer.
Great performance from the Raspberry Pi 3. I was concerned about heating after seeing that heatsinks are available, but I don't see that this board gets any warmer than the Pi 2. Presumably it will get warm if you work it very hard. The case has several holes in it which provide adequate ventilation. I found the case rather snug and it was difficult to get the board to seat properly without pushing hard on it; if it's not seated properly it sits at an angle and the SD card slot is not properly accessible. The case does a good job of protecting the board inside, however, and is nice and cheap! You'll need to buy a microSD card and power supply if you don't have these already, and be able to follow simple instructions for writing an operating system image to the card.

Kawaii Komputer!
OK, so they're no Japanese but they ARE cute! No need to overly extol the virtues of the Pi 3, there's enough written about it on the 'net, however I have purchased 2 now, one just for Retropie arcade emulator, the other to tinker more with experiments using different OS's and boot configurations and such - perhaps a Kodi build too, for which the Pi is perfect for. I can feel the stirring of a third one being purchased too, for some top-secret World Domination project... or something.Regarding the supplied case: I had no issues at all with either of mine. Yes, they are a tight fit, or in other words, it fits like it grew there! Simply, if you install the Pi 3 board carefully at a slight angle and apply gentle and even pressure, it will sit perfectly within the case within a few seconds. Just experiment with the angle of fitting, but do so carefully and don't stress the board and it'll 'snick' into place and your day will be made. Probably. Both arrived (ordered separately with a week or so between them) within 18hours of ordering and were very well packaged.

Pi good, case good.
I am too mean to give it 5 stars - there needs to be another couple of iterations before it is powerful enough to make me happy. But the R pi is good - besides the party tricks and projects it plays the BBC iPlayer.A few negative comments about the case. It is fit for purpose, I like it, it is well designed - its a bit fiddly getting it in. Look for the little marks around the case that the pi board clicks passed. Put the broad side in at an angle, press down and click. All of the sockets line up perfectly. if not, check if the board is level - it may need pressed down again. I don't think that the board will come out again without breaking the case - but the lid comes off without difficulty giving access to camera socket and gpio header.

Fantastic price/performance and lots of things you can use it for
Great little computer, good case. Always astonished by the price/performance of the Pi and this one is excellent too. The case is also good. It is perhaps a millimetre too small on the internal dimension, so a slightly tight fit but with a little care the Pi will fit, and it is fairly easy to remove the cover too. On the plus side the case isn't going to come apart when you don't want it to, and the holes for the different connections are spot on, plus adequate ventilation. And yes, you can feed the ribbon cable out of the sides of the case with the top on Great value.I recommend buying one of the component packs available for the Pi. I did and in an hour or so had my own variation of the traffic light program running - complete with pedestrian crossing feature :-)

Excellent SBC and perfect little case.
Have recently replaced all of my big tin servers with Raspberry Pis, 8 of them in total. All doing a great job. I currently Have 2 RasPi 0W's acting as fault tolerant DHCP/DNS and LDAP Servers. A 3B as a mail server running postfix, dovecot and spamassasin. A 3B Running Hasbian for my IOT home automation installation. A 3B running OpenElec hooked up to the TV as a media centre paired with another 3B which is acting as a tuner server that has 3 tuners hanging off it it. Another 3B is acting as a NAS, serving out media files to the OpenElec machine and acting as a backup repository for mail and all configuration files via a 1TB USB external drive. The final one is currently a spare but I'm sure I I'll have found a use for it by the end of the weekend :)As for the negative comments regarding the case, they fit fine, you just have to insert the Pi correctly. Don't try with the SD card installed, put side of the board with the GPIO in first at an angle with the HDMI port pointing up at about 45 degrees, then gently push the HDMI port down and the board will sit in snugly.

Experiment Away
I wanted a Pi for my son and I to experiment with. I saw this one came with a clear case which I liked as you can see the insides and the LED's with ease from any angle. I was put off a little by comments about the case. However, I took the plunge and followed the instruction of previous reviewer Monkey Toe, opening the case, inserting the Pi and fitting the lid literally within 20 seconds. As MT says, you just have to take note of the retainers to one side and slip the circuit board edge under then gently press down at the other side to clip the Pi in place. I bought a genuine Sandisk card and as a noob, downloaded NOOBS. Lots of OS options to try out. Great little buy if you like to experiment or have a need for a small device to perform a specific task.

Great board, really bad case
While the board itself is awesome with all the upgrades of the 3rd version, the case in question is awful. The board sits awkwardly inside despite the fact that all cutouts seem to be in the right place. In fact, I think that the cutouts for the bigger ports (USB's, LAN) don't fit so well around the edges and are pushing the board down. I had to fiddle around to ensure that I can stick all required cables in.

Buena raspberry a buen precio
