Silverline Needle File Set 10pce (MS100)

They're not the best quality so I don't imagine they'll survive regular use but for the occasional DIY job, they're extremely useful to have and cheap enough that it's worth getting just to have them in case you ever need them. I've used them to remove sharp edges on cable cutouts in electrical boxes (plastic and metal), filed a mm or two off brass spacers, or just removing burrs from 3D prints.They come in a little carry case to keep them together and you can easily see the shape of each file. The case is flexible so can be folded into your toolbox with little issue. The files come in various sizes so there should be one suitable for your needs.If you need to remove a lot of material, these aren't really designed for that as they aren't very course. Overall, happy with my purchase and got a lot more use out of them than I originally anticipated. Was definitely pleased that I had them available when I needed them.

Arrived quickly. Took some time to get them out of their packaging into the storing blue bag thing which is very flimsy and easily ripped. The files are small and thin ideal for small working, e.g. models and miniatures. Items not intended for larger industrial strength effort so don't be silly in trying them for something beyond their design intention. Very good so far though I don't yet know how long they will last. I'm not expecting eternal life and they look as if they'll be fine. Nice and cheap and good to have amongst my kit.

I like these little Silverline files a lot. With ten in the set you have something to get in any gap, which is what I wanted. I purchased them for plastic model making as there are often little bits that need filing down or adjusting. These are not diamond files but, very fine cutting normal files. They come with a little plastic pouch to put them in which is ideal although I can see them ending up loose in the tray of my modeling toolbox eventuallyAlthough Silverline are a pretty low end brand, I do find they do some very good value for money stuff.

I bought these files to handle a pretty tough task - dressing fret ends on a guitar fret board. The frets are very high tensile steel and to buy the proper 'luthier' files would cost a small wad. These managed the job pretty well - ideally you'd round off the sharp ends so you don't risk damage to the fret board but I didn't - I was just careful. I also found the selection of shapes quite handy in levelling and crowning the frets, although they are not a real substitute for a proper crowning tool (which has the reverse shape of a fret)and you also need a large flat file for the task.Despite using them on the high tensile wire, the files appear to be holding up well.All in all, very good value and an extremely handy addition to the tool chest.

A nice little set of files for not a lot of money, job done

These are about 14cm in length each.Rubber coated handles.Comes with PVC/vinyl (?) roll case.Amazon needs to include dimensional details in their listings! This is not so very often.Good overall quality for price.A good set of mini files to have in your tool box even though you might not have any use at present!Recommended.

Reasonable files better finish than i expected for the price and a good variety of sizes.The handles on them are not the best grip but i am holding them in a collet style handle so no big deal.Be careful of the tips though as with such thin hardened metal they are a little brittle. i have already cracked one of the thinner ends off.

Like the files, they're drcent. The soft plastic case they're sent in though isn't great and the needle points on a couple of the files eadily snag and puncture it.

Je n'ai pas constaté de fragilité particulière contrairement au retour d'autres utilisateurs, cependant je ne les pas fait tomber par exemple et suis assez soigneux avec mon outillage ! J'ai aussi apprécié la présence d'un petit étui plastique dédié pour ranger les limes.

Da ich öfters Kleinreparaturen mache, habe ich mir die Stielfeilen gekauft. Sie sind von guter Qualität und werden mich noch lange begleiten. Echt Spitze.

Es todo lo que se puede decir, si te resultan útiles no están nada mal de precio, no son profesionales pero si de buena calidad, liman bien acero bastante duro.

Pour faire des bijoux, du modélisme, etc....

Ich habe diese Nadelfeile gekauft, um eine Aluminium-Schiene für Gardinen zu feilen. Diese Nadelfeile erfüllten den Zweck und werden auch Einsatz bei meinen vielen Bastelarbeiten finden.Der einzige Nachteil ist die mitgelieferte Tasche. Ich habe gleich 6-7 Löcher in das Material gestochen, als ich die Nadelfeile eingeschoben habe. Empfehlenswert ist es, die Feilen beim einschieben leicht hin- und herzurotieren-- so bleiben sie nicht so schnell hängen.
