It is a continuation of this massive console guide that takes a look at both classic consoles, and more obscure consoles each with very detailed photos, descriptions that include just a touch of humor, and a recommended game list for people who want to get into collecting for them, but don't know where to start. There is a lot of content and it's a meaty book covering over 20 systems just like the first one and it's a great way to find out more about game systems that you may not be familiar with while celebrating classics like the Playstation.

This book is fun and Informative in a way only Mark Bussler can do. Any fan of Classic Game Room, retro games and great photography should buy this book. Now if I could only escape the Zone of Danger.

Excellent follow up to the first guide. Yet agaain great pictures to draw you in and get you wanting to play. The dialog is great and communicates clearly. I would recommend this to anyone interested in retro video games.

Just love Mark’s work. This book is awesome. Would have liked to see more in-game pictures but then again, it is a video game console book. A must buy for any video game enthusiasts.

Second in the Ultra Massive Video Game Console Guide series this one is better and more interesting than the first. Sharing a bit of my deception with the first one, you better like spaceship shooter and have knowledge before hand of the console to read this, making the series a bit hard to grasp (in my opinion) for beginner. Make note that this being said, I still recommend the book series for beginner since it is not far from perfect and a well put work.Ultra Massive Video Game Console Guide Volume 2 is my favorite and is very well assemble. Picture are again sublime and this time, information and description is better and tighter than the first one. So yeah, better than the first in pretty much every way! So, do I recommend it? If you like Mark Bussler personality you will like those books, otherwise I still do since it is a great book! It is a win / win to me.
