For what it's worth...
Looks like this item is "currently unavailable" with no expected date back in stock. Hopefully they are returning to the drawing board with these gloves, but I'll write this review just in case this design comes back to Amazon. The concept (if I understood the concept of these gloves when I bought them) is good: A nice waterproof (or at least "water resistant") glove featuring moderate insulation for cold weather use and a tough, textured, rubberized palm and fingers for grip. The problem here is that this glove is not waterproof or water resistant. I bought these gloves for putting on chains or swapping tires in the winter. Provided that it's above freezing, these gloves should be somewhat useful. But if used in slush or plain water, they soak it up like a wet sponge. In fact, I'm not even sure the rubberized portion of the gloves (fingertips, for example) are water proof or water resistant. They seem porous, and testing them under the faucet resulted in soaked gloves in a matter of seconds. The search for a pair of cold-weather waterproof gloves continues...
