Beautiful set
I bought this set for my son's dorm room. He is extremely hot natured and prefers this type of fabric. He really likes the way it feels, he sleeps well, and it looks nice.

Wonderfully Silky-Soft & Lightweight. Restful Combination of Blue & Gray.
The media could not be loaded. ย This comforter set is wonderfully silky-soft, lightweight, comfortable, and inviting. The blue and gray colors are a beautiful and restful combination. I love that this has hidden stitches so the filling will stay in place well without bunching. I've washed (delicate/cold) and dried this with no problem. Very happy with this lovely comforter set. It's perfect for spring and summer.

Finally Found A Satin Like Comforter Set in a Beautiful Color
I have searched for a satin like material in a pretty solid colored comforter or bedspread for years with no success. I wanted something in a slippery material with a sheen, but it seemed that I could only find colors I didn't like such as black, burgundy, dark green and so on. I gave up until this set came along. It is a beautiful soothing spa blue color with a soft grey underside. It comes compressed in a small box. It's very wrinkled when it comes out of the box, and has a slight odor which disappeared after washing. I always wash everything first, and since I ordered the king size, it was a little challenging for me. I didn't know if I should try stuffing it into my large front loaders or take it to a laundromat to use a commercial washing machine. It did alright in my washer with no room to spare on the cold, delicate setting. I placed it into my dryer with some dryer balls on low, and it was still not totally dry after 60 minutes. It was a good drying weather, so I ended up hanging it over a clean sheet on my outside dog kennel fence because it was too heavy for my clothes line. It dried very well out there, and you can see on my picture of the grey side how they did the stitching so the comforter doesn't separate. I did find an area of funky stitching that was almost 27" long on one end, but I just tucked that end in at the foot of the bed.I've found in the past that some queen sized comforters and bedspreads are too small for my queen bed, so depending on the measurements, I sometimes go with the king size. I'm glad I got the king size because you can see in my pictures that the overhang is about right on the sides. My mattress is 10 inches thick, and it's on an adjustable base which doesn't add much height. Just image two bodies under that comforter, and after many years of fighting for blankets pulled off of me in the middle of the night, I'd rather have too much comforter coverage than not enough. The king size is perfect for my queen bed whether I want the sides out or tucked in. I always tuck in at the foot of the bed, otherwise it would probably slide around. There is some wrinkling that remains after washing, but considering how big it is, that's expected. You can always take an iron to it once it's on the bed, but it doesn't bother me that much. It also wrinkles from sitting on top of it for long periods of time or even a cat sleeping on it leaves wrinkles. I'd rather have some wrinkles than have the material treated with chemicals to make it wrinkle resistant. The comforter is good for summer sleeping. Our weather is flipping between 90 and low to mid 60's, getting down to 45 at night. I was comfortable and not too hot, but for the coolest nights I added a light fleece blanket over it because I got a little too cold. The material does snag fairly easily, which again is expected with this type of material. One of my pictures shows the snags made from my kitten playing pounce. I found a couple fine snags on the pillow case as well. I guess snags are the trade-off for not having pet hair stick to this type of fabric. This comforter set looks so good on the bed that it can take the place of a bedspread and pillow shams provided you get the right size for your bed which makes this such a good deal at this price. The blue color is absolutely beautiful, and I love it more every time I look at it. I want our bedroom to be a peaceful sanctuary, where we can de-stress and rest, and this comforter set helps to achieve that feeling. There are a couple minor issues that come with this type of material and the sheer size of the comforter that you can't avoid, but I am delighted to have found this set.

Pretty, didn't handle wash well
This comforter is very pretty. Love the gray and gray-blue color! It was compressed in plastic (with an easy tear top) so came out quite wrinkled. I inspected the seams and immediately noticed some loose threads. I washed per instructions alone on cold/gentle cycle and unfortunately found when it came out of the washer that the seam had came loose in the spot where the loose threads were. It was about 3 inches long so I sewed it by hand. The batting inside did remain intact without shifting. It dried well and fits my queen size bed good and the pillow cases fit my pillows well. It is super comfy to sleep under! Even though the seam came loose a little I would still purchase as it is really nice and it was a small area that I was able to mend.

Best for late fall and early spring.
This is a good value at the price point.Likes.Comfortable to the touch.Silky smooth feel.Nice pillowcases.Would provide good warmth in cooler weather.Envelope style pillowcases.Dislikes.Heavier than I expected.Contrary to many reviews, I found it too warm in our air conditioned home. I use a very thin cooling blanket as a top sheet. This comforter was too warm for me, and not very breathable. I had to roll it down to my legs to feel comfortable. I use it primarily as a daytime blanket, to give the bed a decent finished appearance. My rating. This blanket would appeal to people that like a warm blanket, and for cool weather use.My one star deduction is based on my opinion of poor breathability, and being warmer than expected.
