Best set of plastic bricks I've ever built.
Product shipped in less than a week, instructions were very clear, I had no trouble assembling it and it was very fun to build. The only downside was that I had to return the product for a new one because one of the motors did not work and a few pieces were missing. If I hadn't had those pieces in my spare parts bin, then I wouldn't have been able to complete the build. This set is definitely meant for people who have a long attention span and have been building with these kinds of bricks for a long time. I personally recommend building this set with someone else because it is a lot more fun that way.Don't drive the tank over things that go higher than the treads or the wheels will fall off, but due to the open bottom design, anything like that is easily fixable. Battery charge time 2-3 hours, which is a very reasonable amount of time for how long it lasts (make sure to switch it to charge mode.) Very user-friendly controls and easy reload system. Projectiles go decently far. Never drive it over a carpet since the carpet string get caught in the treads. Overall great product! I would definitely recommend this for anyone who is a fan of tiny plastic bricks.

This is an awesome product. It is complex to build
This is an awesome product. It is complex to build, and takes a bit of time, but was totally worth the time spent. I found only two spots in the instructions that had an error. But even this was a small problem easily solved by just double checking our work as you go. To give you an idea as to the instruction error, a step to assemble a section of the tank, shows you what parts and how many. But as I assembled this section, I had a piece left over. Simply looking it over, it was very obvious as to where it went, considering that it was a mirror image section that was assembled in the previous step. The hardest part of the assembly was plugging in the various motors to the battery pack that is already installed in the main body. All in all, I have to say that this product is almost perfect. It has great detail, and functions just as you would expect. The instruction booklet does show that it should not be driven outside, or on carpets. Only solid, smooth floors. I drove mine over a blanket with no problem. I assume that something like shag carpet could possibly give it trouble, But I believe it would do just fine. The only thing I do not like is the battery pack. Rechargeable, not simple AA, or AAA batteries. I think that regular batteries would work better than the rechargeable kind. Which have to be charged using a USB cable. Not an outlet plug. Over all. I still like what I got, and how it functions. Very cool tank!

A challenge to build (for a 12 year old) - but worth the time.
The media could not be loaded. This is a lego-like RC tank that my son saw and wanted it. He is 12 years old and proficient at building legos so I was not worried about the complexity of the build. It took him about 12 total hours to build it and he said it was the most challenging build he has done.He has played with it for a few days now, and he still likes it and is very proud of himself (as is I) for building it.The remote is ok, meaning not too cheap looking or feeling, but definitely not a "robust" remote control (don't drop it).All in all, this is a good toy with definately "some assembly required", so if someone enjoys spending the time to build something, this would be good for them and worth their time.Pros:Bricks are well made.Instructions are very detailed and are broken into doable steps.12 year old was able to build on his own without help.It feels pretty durable and not like it was going to fall apart when using.Cons:Only designed for hardwood floors.Battery only life only 20 min constant use (with 1.5 hour full charge).Sometimes pieces were hard to determine which one was which my son said.

Worth every penny
My grandson has had days of play with this set. It's unbelievable how many things you can make with this set. If your child loves Legos and electronics don't hesitate to buy this. The possibilities are endless.

Box sucks, product is great
My only dislike is that when it was shipped, it wasnt in a box. It was just a packing label on the product. If that were to be shipped to a house for a birthday or xmas, theres a good chance the kid would see exactly what it was. Also, the box was poor quality. When I picked it up, it literally fell apart. There was tape on it where you can see people tried to repair it during travel. The toy itself is pretty cool. The RC function works great and it was fun for the recipient to build. He had a blast building it and still has a blast playing with it. For the price, it was really good

Joystick polarity flipped/inverted.
Overall pretty cool. The unit came in a timely manner however the box was pretty clapped out but considering that is in the garbage anyway it's no big deal to me. Unit went together pretty well with only a few instructional errors and lots of extra pieces it seems. The quality of the pieces, more specifically the molding is certainly tolerable though no where near LEGO standards and however the material seems about par. My biggest gripe is that the polarity on one of the joysticks seems to be flipped such that when both joysticks are pushed forward in an effort to drive the tank straight is simply rotates in place. If one joystick is pushed forward while the other is pushed back it will drive straight. I don't see any means of switching the polarity nor physically making a change to the remote. Although everything functions it's not intuitive or natural to drive the unit with a flipped polarity thus taking a lot of fun out of it. Is there a way to get a replacement remote?
