The deck contractor pinched all the lines to laminar jets on an indoor pool about $2k x4 and damaged with grout. They wired up great and saved the day.

These are of very good quality. The screws clamp strong, and the plastic is durable. There is an actual UL approval stamped on these units, though I have not verified directly with US. The quality is good enough that I feel it has a genuine approval, though.I'm still not sure if I'd use this type of connector (from any manufacturer) for 120V and 10+ Amps, though.There are a lot of pictures on here of people using them in a manner which is NOT approved by the NEC (National Electric Code). If you intend to use this for a permanently-installed solution, please do more research on the code requirements for your application.

Internal screws a little fiddly, but perfect in the USA market otherwise, where there isn't a lot of choice.

I used these to connect some outdoor LED spot lights for my back yard that come with short pig tails that does not supoport the way I wanted to install. Can't speak to water proofness, but they seem like they will be if you use the round wire. (I also installed under the eaves so not exposed to directly to the weather.The only thing I didn't like but not big issue, is the small screws cuased me some issues (might be a user problem. over all in a pinch I will use them again.
