I descale my coffee machine regularly, especially as we live in an area where the water is very hard. I hadn't realised that the solution didn't clean the 'front' of the machine so I tried these capsules. The water was full of bits, nothing like anything that comes out during a normal descaling. I can only assume that I'm prolonging the life of my machine. At over £2 a go (monthly), they're not cheap but compared to a new machine, worth it.

Well I don't think I was expecting miracles and although easy to use. Found that old method of descaling more effective.

Easy and very quick to use. Difficult to assess effectiveness but I would buy again.

Have used one capsule & it seemed to clean well. It will be a while before I need to use another as we have good quality water (not hard) and so no limescale or similar.

Used in a Modo Mio Jolie machine. One capsule removed a lingering fishy taste from the coffee, after I'd cleaned through with a generic coffee machine descaler - which was only partially effective.
