Not Bad. Flatbed Would Be a Nice Improvement.
It does look sturdier and heavier in the product listing photograph, but it's not heavy nor too sturdy. Expect IKEA quality level and you will not be disappointed. I bought two of these to get rid of three milk crates. Came in with all parts and screws, even Allen key and a Phillips screwdriver (I mean take a few bucks off the price, who doesn't have those at home?). A couple of extra screws was a good thought, as two got stripped right away. I wouldn't recommend loading this rack to its full capacity; it needs some room for record flipping in each one of the three bottom compartments between little divider knobs located on the bottom rails.A flat bed would be a definite design improvement, as the sleeves are sitting on top of two 1/2"-wide square rails, which may result in dents.Anyway, as noted, it's not too bad, it is functional and beats milk crates for aesthetics. Just a bit overpriced for what you are getting, I think.

Could Be Cheaper but Works Great
Less than 10 mins to assemble. Comes with cheaper screwdriver and good instructions. This item helped me to get my nearly 300 ish album collection off the of the floor and organized in a way that allows me to freely, efficiently browse my 40 your old vinyl collection. Each crate holds right at 100 records. I ordered 2 crates on a risk that I could fit 250 into 2 crates. NOPE! Ended up ordering 1 more crate. Would I recommend ? YES!! But I do think the item could be about $10-$15 cheaper. 5 stars for quality and sturdiness. 3.5 stars for price. Hope this helps!

Watch Out
So, this is the fourth (4th) of this Vinyl Record Storage Holder on Wheels that I have purchased over the past year. The first three went together with no problem. This one however is a bit different. I suspect the manufacturer has changed their manufacturing method. Here is the problem. The Vinyl Record Storage Holder has wheels. These wheels screw onto the base with 4 screws each. Four Wheels x Four Screws = 16 holes. They supply you with the screws for the wheels (machine screws), a small Philips head (cross) screwdriver for the wheel screws, and an Allen wrench for all the other screws. The old style of this holder has all 16 holes pre-tapped (threaded) to accept the screws. Apparently, the new model does not. Instead they now include a small business card (see picture) that tells you that you have to use a power drill to screw the screws into the holes (because they are not tapped). The assembly manual still tells you to use the included screwdriver (see pictures) to mount the wheels. The provided screws are not of the "self tapping" variety; they are just plain machine screws. This is idiotic. In order to get my wheels attached, I had to use my metric "tap and die" set so that I could tap the holes to accept the machine screw. 16 of them. Then I could use the screwdriver to simply attach the wheels.By the way, I had to figure out what the screw size is because they do not tell you. For those interested, the screw is a 4 x 0.7mm.I am sure this is a cost cutting method for the manufacturer, but they are going to find out that their returns are going to increase, because most people will not be able to get all 4 wheels securely mounted. The little business card informing you to use a power screwdriver to install the wheels is a new addition to their packaging: none of the previous 3 units I purchased included this card and those units were assembled a heck of a lot easier than this one!
