No adhesive needed. More below.
I got it for the trunk on my 2006 Hyundia Sonata which started leaking in the trunk. The water seeped through the carpet into the back seat. The original rubber stripping is still on the car. It was only leaking on the sides of the trunk, not the center. Installation was easy. There is a metal/aluminum piece in the middle. Do NOT use scissors. Preferrably a sharp knife and pliers. Be careful when you cut it, then use the pliers to bend/break the metal piece. For my car, it's roughly 15' give or take so the 20' length left me with extra.I poured water over the trunk to see if there was still a leak but did not see any. I'll have to shampoo the car when it gets warmer. If this works I'll update this.

No more water leaking into the trunk from a worn seal.
Works great so far. Used it to replace a badly worn trunk seal on a 1995 Acura integra. Don’t forget to cut a couple of vent holes in the seal to soften the trunk closure feel. Without the vent holes, when you close the trunk, the air in the bulb has no where to escape to and causes resistance. Also, make sure the vent holes are a clean cut - any rough cut edges may lead to tearing from use.

Came with a tear-hole in it!
Fit right onto my 2000 Mercedes C230 Kompressor (W202) trunk-boot. At about 13" left to meet center bottom I noticed a hole in it. I used some 3M adhesive to repair-fill hole. But, not too happy that I was sent one with a (pinky finger tip) sized hole in it. *see picture attached. I tested with garden hose for 5 minutes, no leak. So, I gave it a 4 star rating, 5 if they had done a little QC before picking and shipping.

Very good Seal.
So the reason I bought this was to fabricate a seal from the intake scoop on 04 Subaru Forester XT to the intercooler. Worked very well for about 2 weeks then it started to move because adhesive came loose. I assume because of the heat from engine compartment. I then use 3M adhesive spray, and all is well. This Bulb Seal was perfect for making a very air tight seal from induction scoop to the top of the intercooler. Very good for the $.

This works for Chinese Husheing Z6-8 (Chevy Astro copy)
I has Chinese Husheing Z6-8 (Chevy Astro copy) and this was the only way to find weather strip for top edge inside door opening. Work perfect and cheap. You would need ten feet strip for the passenger (left side)

Alternative to high cost reproductions
I used this for a 77 Chevy Nova-sedan trunk weatherstripping. A true reproduction W.S. was 5x the price of this W.S. I just installed this product to see if is worked. I was able to close the trunk lid, but it took some force. I may need to readjust the latch, but for the price, it's probably worth it for an older, non-show car. After a water hose spray test, it seemed to keep out the water. Plenty of trim for the trunk circumference, had about 1.5 feet left over.

Reasonably Priced Easy To Install
I bought the 15’ length and it worked out to just over $2 a foot which I thought was a bit more than it should have been. It was very easy to install in the trunk of our 2008 Honda Civic.

Going good so far
We bought for a Chevy Malibu trunk. Fell a couple feet short. Go with the 15 if your a sedan. We are going to take it through a car wash to test it out... Will review after
