Root Comb Applicator Bottle, 6 ounce with graduated scale, Hair Coloring, Dye and scalp treament essential (Pack of 3)

I have been using this type of bottle for years and it works great! I love this bottle as it separates my hair and allows me to get the product down to the root with one hand and without having to use a separate comb. Plus it is much easier on your arms. I opted for the 6 oz. bottle as I need just a little more hair color and didn't want to have to mix a second batch. I rinse everything out after each use. Yes the cap will have a little residue in the crevasses but the comb part cleans out perfectly. As others have said if the mixture in the bottle is thin then it may leak out if you tip the bottle or attempt to shake the bottle to mix the products. My work around for mixing in the bottle is a chop stick.

Have a friend who covers her walls and floors when coloring her hair. This item has saved her day. Neat and efficient, a time saver.

It is nice but very hard yo clean it use oil and essential oil.

i was searching for something like this to apply some conditioning oil to my scalp without getting it all over my hair too, and these bottles looked perfect. Turns out, they are. EXACTLY what I needed -- excellent quality and a great price!!

I use these for scalp toner but the comb teeth too wide for runny liquid like a toner, it dispense the toner continuously spreading the toner not only on scalp but hair too. It will be great if the teeth dispense the liquid only with gentle pressure on the bottle. I will look for another bottle for my purpose.

I used this to apply neutral henna to my hair, as an overall deep conditioner. At first I was concerned if the henna would be too thick and that it wouldn't squeeze out of the holes. But thankfully that didn't happen. And I successfully henna-ed my hair!Even though item took like 2 weeks to arrive (instead of a few days), I am still more pleased than I am disappointed.And also, bottles are fairly easy to clean (except for 1 area that I don't know how to describe at the moment, but its not a deal breaker as long as I keep certain bottles designated for certain uses and don't plan to "cross-contaminate" with other fluids in the bottles).To clean some of the hard to reach areas such as the spout holes, I un-bent a paper clip and stuck the ends down the holes to help flush any henna residue from them. This worked great for me : )

I originally bought one bottle but having a set is better. One I use to get diluted shampoo to scalp while hair in big twists. Cuts down on that darn detangling. Other I use to oil my scalp without having to unbraid hair or remove a style, period. This is a must have for me...including extra bottles for any other scalp treatment I mix up.
