I really wanted this thing to work. It installed and fit well with my Joying 7" Android HU. Worked great in the beginning but stopped after a week or so. I changed the battery, checked the connections, reset my head unit, nothing works. Seller won't respond to requests for help, tech support call feature doesn't work. I waited to write review in hopes to get some response but I'm over it. I would gladly pay 5x the price if it just worked. Very disappointed.Update: I pulled the battery cable on my truck for several minutes and it must have reset because it works now. Interested to see how long.Update 2: It stopped working again so I pulled the negative battery cable for over an hour and it wouldn't reset. I had to take the radio out of the dash and disconnect the power wire from the blue tooth remot box to reset. It works again.

"Chinese-ium" is a great way to describe this. Installing was straightforward between the pictures in the listing and my head unit's manual, both of which had largely useless text (see below.)For those who find that some buttons don't work, note that the remote may not be defective. My aftermarket head unit has a button in the setup labelled "SWC1", which alternates through SWC2 and SWC3 when tapped. The manual describes it thusly: "SWC1: Select different SWC resistance to meet different cars. If you cannot finish all key pairing,you can press to select SWC2 SWC3,until all keys can learn."Which, when translates from Chinglish, means "If some of your remote buttons don't work on SWC1, try SWC2 or SWC3 instead."

UDATE: after replacing the first battery, I had to replace it again now the unit is not working at all. So I am going to check my connections and if all is ok I will ask for a replacement or order a different more reliable unit. Easy installation, buttons all programmed as expected. Had one small issue the battery that came with the unit was dead luckily I had another one. Only time will tell how well it will hold up.

I am happy with the purchase and it was easy to install. It works as expected. My only complaint is that it did not come with a way to mount it on the left side of steering wheel without turning it upside down. I am a little picky about such things and it would bother me to see the switch mounted upside down.

When this arrived, only the bottom half of the remote control worked at first. This was because when you hit any of the buttons on the bottom half of the remote, the battery would dislodge slightly and cause a bad connection. There are 2 issues that cause these problems. 1. Two of the screws holding the case together(on the bottom half) were stripped. This caused the case to flex a bit, and the battery to dislodge when pushing the lower buttons. 2. The battery connections themselves did not have much tension. Simply pry up the bottom connection a bit, and bend the side spring. I fixed these 2 issues, and now have a fully functioning remote that works with my Pumpkin Android Head Unit.

I was a little apprehensive going with an unknown Chinesium brand but after I connected the wires to my Xtrons TE706PL Android 8.0 head unit's wiring harness, the HU instantly recognized the button remote and I was able to map buttons to my heart's content. This device is much more safe than trying to peck away at your touch screen equipped head unit while driving. I highly recommend this product!

Easy installation with Xtrons 10.1 inch android 6 head unit.The key assignment utility on Xtrons allows to setup a function for short press and another function for long press of the same key, which increases the total number of functions accessible by the keys.Not all keys can be assigned with two functions; the volume keys for example because long press means repeating of the short press function in this case.The operation is as expected and it's very helpful.The only thing I wished was to be able to turn on the LED of the unit all the time.I don't mind if I have to replace the unit's button battery more often.Now at night, I have to press one of the volume keys to turn on the LED.A nice addition would be a small switch on the unit for LED.Regardless, I'm very satisfied.

Installed on a 2017 Ford F-350 with an aftermarket chinese Android radio. I'm not real keen on the way it mounts to steering wheel, but I didn't see any other manufacturers that make anything better. The stick on versions are all round which would not look right in my truck. This one was easy to install, programmed right up and works great.
