VERY impressed after trying many small and medium size air purifiers.
As a retired distributor of commercial and residential air purifiers with the same functions as this unit, I've been very impressed by it's adjustable ozone / ionization output, durability and compact size. I use two in a 1,900 sq. ft. home. There's also one running on low to medium setting on the sailboat to keep away odors and mildew. I'd think this unit would be great if you have pet odors in a house. Cleaning the unit is easy.

Excellent Product so happy with it
I love this. I'm thrilled with the quality of air in my room and it clears the whole room (standard bedroom size). I wish the light wasn't so bright because it keeps me awake but if you like night lights you'll be in heaven. I definitely got one for each room.

Love it
Love this! We have one in our guest bathroom and one by our dog’s kennel. There is a slight humming sound but it’s really not that noticeable.

worked for 2 Years then died
I really don't know how long these things are supposed to last, but our lasted a little under two years. It helped to remove the odors of the area, but did not completely eliminate the odors.

It’s only been half a day but 😳😳😳😳
We have a “cat room” with four litter boxes in it along with their food and water bowls. It gets the afternoon light/heat through three large windows. The cat box smell often makes it to the hallway despite our best efforts. (We have some really rancid bottoms here.) I put this in there on 75% and it cleared the stench right up. It became clear that that was too high a setting so I lowered it to 25% and that’s perfect.I also used it in our butler’s pantry where a very naughty cat kept peeing. (We have litter robots so the box is always free of waste. I have no idea why he does this.) While I’ve been able to clean up the messes and what I’m using has made it impossible for me to smell the pee, he keeps going back to the same two spots. I’m not sure if this can rid the pantry of the smell that only a cat smells but I’m willing to give it a shot.I don’t find it loud at all like some others do. But maybe it’s because I’m used to background noise in my home.As far as the smell, I can’t honestly put a name to how it smells but on the higher settings it makes my throat hurt. Thank goodness the lower setting(s) is sufficient.I can see how the light ring might disturb someone trying to sleep but since this is not in my bedroom I can’t say. It’s pretty compact but does impede utilizing the second socket where I use it. I’ve just plugged things in to different outlets to solve that problem. The instructions do recommend regular vacuum/cleaning with Qtips to keep it cleaning the air. It also says it can bother some with respiratory issues so read the directions and warnings well. For me, so far, it’s been great!

Too loud for small space
I didn't get a change to really evaluate the air cleaning performance. I had installed this in a water closet and the noise level was just too high to keep.

Must Have for Spaces With Funk
I didn't have a lot of hope for this item but I am ordering more to give as gifts. We have two cats, three litter boxes and no matter how often we clean them, there are still rooms that just have that general "eau du cat" from time to time. I've never tried an ionizer before but I'm completely sold on how well it elimates any hint of bad odor.I am aware of a slight ozone smell in the room where the device is located but I do not find it offensive. I can see where some might be sensitive to it or dislike that smell. I started out with the unit on about half power and have since dialed it back to as low as it will go. This still produces the amount of purification I need and has reduced the ozone smell significantly. I might even try turning it off every other day and see how that goes. Some users have mentioned the annoying sound. I do not find the sound or the green light bothersome but this is in one downstairs room that does not get a lot of human use so your mileage may vary. It does give off a bit of a whirring/hissing sound that increases as the power is dialed up. There is no way to turn off the green power light that glows when the unit is turned on.If you are at your wits end trying to get rid of funky odors and you aren't into covering up with heavy perfumes or detergents, I think this product is definitely worth a try.

Super effective, exceptionally loud, and unnecessarily bright
I purchased three of these to try to clear out some of the constant musty smell in my home, as well as the smell of the litter box that travels up from the basement no matter how clean we keep it.I plugged one in at the base of the stairs, one in the living room, and one in the hallway leading to the bedrooms, and while I'm still adjusting the dial for output as well as their final locations, I could tell the difference immediately. It adds a scent-quality to the air similar to hydrogen peroxide, which was very interesting, but also very satisfying in that it got rid of all the other less-than-appealing smells. 5/5 stars for functionality.I have two complaints. The first is something I will largely ignore due to how immediately and successfully the yuck-smell has dissipated from my home: These guys are LOUD.It's not the worst loud-fan sound, but there is a very noticeable hissing sound which increases in volume depending on how high you have the output set. There's no getting around it unless you turn the device off completely, which of course defeats the purpose. If you are sound-sensitive, this could be extremely disruptive and definitely something to take note of.The other and one that irks me to no end - the steady green glow that is put off from the dial is *extremely* bright. There is no way to turn it off, so I am stuck with this awful green that is bright enough to light up a room when all other lights are off - I would absolutely not be able to sleep with one of these in my bedroom. I will likely be purchasing some led dimming stickers, or covering it with electrical tape, but to me, this is a design flaw that could be remedied easily.Having said that, with how effective this is at odor control, I will likely be purchasing one or two more in the future if I need more square footage covered.
