Supringly effective!!!
I have a very young, type 1 diabetic, who has been on omnipod since 18 months old (six months after Dx). I have tried EVERYTHING out there in the last four years to keep his stupid pods on while swimming, to include, not just pod adhesives, but also, IV tapes, pediatric NICU tape, to the most “supposedly adherents” such as some kind of goo that seriously looked like rubber cement, but was made for skin. Nothing, and I mean NOTHING could hold a pod on that little boy if there was a pool involved.Well, we had a planned vacation to Florida and (of course) the resort we were staying at had a pool with a waterfall, volcano AND water slides (a little boys dream come true, a diabetic moms worst nightmare). So, I ordered these, with absolutely NO HOPE of them working, as I have sorely been disappointed in the past by other similar products and packed 20 pods for a ten day vacation.BOY WAS I SURPRISED!!! They held up! Three days in and daily visits to the pool and his pod actually expired!!! Didn’t think I’d hear those beeps the whole trip! Not only that, but you know how you have to wait 24 hours to make sure the pod adhesive actually adheres before showering? Well, sure enough, we promised the pool after dinner and guess when the pod beeped? Right BEFORE dinner (of course). So, numbed him up, replaced the pod, threw one of these over it and he went right out the door to the pool and it STILL STAYED ON!So yeah, I’m sold. No rashes, came off easily with unisolve and I have now decided to keep these on hand for pools, splash pads, pretty much ANYTHING outside of water.

Doesn't fit properly
These patches don't fit properly.1) The adhesive backing is a single piece instead of being 3 pieces as it should - One for the center and then one on each side. That means you have to over-stretch the patch/tape to put the band over the pod. Then the inside edges don't adhere properly to the pod's own adhesive patch. Then you also end up with wrinkles in the overpatch.2) Because it doesn't adhere to the pod's patch, it doesn't prevent the pod from being pulled loose. I've had 2 pods that started leaking insulin from the cannula while using these patches; one could have been a fluke, but two in a month on a leg and arm with these patches is s not a coincidence.

Is not for all skin types
I used this on my diabetic son to help hold his Omnipod in place. At first, it was great, but suddenly he developed what can only be described as an allergic reaction to the adhesive. He would scratch and pull at it, and when I removed it, his skin was inflamed, and a huge rash was where the patch had been on his skin. Due to that, his blood sugars were off the wall high. It has been a week, and the reaction is just about gone. He still scratches his skin where the patch had been. I would test this on a small area first or if you are prone to having sensitive skin, find something else.

Hyperallergic? I don't know about that..
I ordered this, we got all solid colors and only one pattern. But that doesn't bother me as much as this: we put this on her on recent Saturday and today is time for site change, so we remove it, it had only been on her for 3 days. See picture I attached after it was removed.. Her skin is inflamed, doesn't look like hyperallergic and gentle to me. Not for all skin types. We are disappointed because we wanted to go swimming this summer and this was supposed to be our solution. Now we are back on square one :'(

Changing the patches out each day because they are coming off
Terrible. Placed on the pod on Sunday morning, already coming off on Sunday night. Placed a new one on before bed Sunday, already coming off on Monday evening. Was trying to replace SimPatch, which cause adhesive reactions for us. Will have to go back to double patching (for skin protection) with SimPatch because these simply do not stick. If you like changing your overlay patch every day while risking pulling your pod off, this is the brand for you. Very disappointed.
