How can i connect this to my phone? I tried a smart plug snd that did not work. The remote for my vornado fan is able to power this on/off

If you are referencing the fireplace, it does not hook to your phone, it is not bluetooth nor run with an app

Can this go in front of a radiator?

Hello, we do not suggest placing this in front of a working radiator. Proper airflow and circulation is needed for either unit will not overheat.

Does the glass stay cool?

The glass stays cool to the touch when the heater is in use. The only area that gets hot is the metal directly around the vent in the upper left corner of the fireplace insert.

Does an actual working fireplace come with it?

Yes. The fireplace insert and its remote comes with it. It is electric. Comes a a plug about 5ft long. Must have outlet where you choose to put it.
