I tried to clean the baffles for my silencer the traditional way. But after shooting a couple hundred rounds of .223 and about 60 rounds of .22 with it the carbon and lead was absolutely caked onto them. Did some research on it and looked into an ultrasonic and got this one.It worked like magic. Even the insides of the baffles were spotless. My only regret is that I didn’t go with the 2L size instead. My silencer is a .223 and has 7 baffles. All of the baffles fit in the container but it’s a super tight fit and I clean the cylinder separate. But I can still use the same solution for both. If you’re just getting it for jewelry and small things this would be great. I have zero complaints about it and it does a stellar job for my needs. I may just buy the 2L sometime and keep this one as a backup.

I've been using this ultrasonic cleaner now for over 3 months. It does everything advertised. It's not the largest cleaner, nor the most expensive. What is does great is clean small items for a reasonable price. This is not a commercial cleaner, but the value for the price is excellent.

For value the ultrasonic cleaner works very well, however there are a few cosmetic and ease of use complains. The lid is a poorly stamped piece of metal, the edges are very sharp so be careful. The general construction for now looks to be good, though with similar complaints as the lid. Sharp corners that would have been quick to deburr.If you're looking for something cheap that works well I do recommend this unit. It came packaged well with nothing loose and lots of thick foam. I am using mine for post cleaning resin parts.

High quality ultrasonic cleaner ... works as well as any that I've used/purchased for professional cleaning at our jewelry stores. Heats us quickly and is accurate on the temperature gauge (I double checked it against a kitchen thermometer). Good size and comes with a large hole mesh basket for holding large items. You will want to purchase extra small mesh baskets for use with small items like jewelry - especially earrings ... so that they don't fall out and get lost at the bottom of the cleaner. Overall a very good value for the money.

Nice to have to clean small parts

The media could not be loaded. When I bought this ultra sonic cleaner 5 months ago, it was so loud I had to cover it with a towel to muffle the sound. Despite the sound, it worked great. I have used it daily since receiving it. Today, when I started it up, it was much quieter but there seems to be sonic vibrations still. I prefer it to be quieter but I’m unsure if it is working properly. I can not return the item because it is past the return window. I gave it a 3 star review because it doesn’t sound the way it did when I first got it.
