Excellent.
This is an absolutely amazing product. I like the sound quality when the guitar is plugged in and also when a song is played over the bluetooth. The effects are good. You can connect it to a computer and start recording. However, I don’t know how to separate the audio from guitars and the drum track because always those were recorded together in my case. Great value for money. It’s highly mobile and practical. Very easy to use. Well done Boss!

The best portable amp for my needs - worthy competitor to the yamaha THR
Fab tones, easy to dial in, fantastic effects, good I/O, quite lightweight, great battery life - genuinely can't find a fault with this amp.The onboard looper is my favourite feature. Do note that you need a normally closed dual footswitch, a lot of models sold on the market are normally open and will not work with boss gear. Bright onion pedals make one for £25 that is very well built.

At this price, it’s a bargain!
I saw these on the Andertons YouTube channel about a year ago and thought they looked like a good option for quiet home use and even as an ultra portable rig/backup, but the original price of £250 was a total no for me, given that I had paid the same for a Katana 50 Mk2. (I appreciate they are meant to be different kinds of products, but there isn’t enough to separate them when they are priced the same imho). When I saw that they had dropped down by around £100 it became an excellent option for me. I’ve been using a Katana Go live in a church context with an Acoustasonic and as a pedal platform for electrics, and it has worked brilliantly, but the lack of on the fly editing was a pain given that I use my phone and tablet to film the service. This given me everything I need with instant tweakability and also a little bit of fallback - and honestly the sound that comes out of the little speakers is actually really quite full and pleasing. It doesn’t sound boxy at all - no idea how they’ve managed that but it’s great and side by side with my Katana 50 at house volume it is as pleasing on the ear.I also use the line out with it to go straight into the PA, and it works exactly as you would hope. It’s compact, lightweight and has enough tones in it to do exactly what most guitarists need in this segment of the market. Granted the Spark Go and Mini would give you more effects options, but I’m not personally sold on them as a platform for my Acoustasonic. This does the trick with the JC Clean.I haven’t tested it with batteries yet, but that is something of an added bonus. Apparently it can give you a good few hours on 8 AA batteries, which is grand if you have rechargeables.I also tweaked the global eq settings in the boss tone studio, as I did with my Katana 50, and that helped too I’m sure. It’s a very flexible portable little amp head and I’m glad I bought it whilst it’s at the £140 mark.

Brilliant Amplifier very versatile
As you would expect from Boss, this amp is built incredibly well and oozes quality. The amp simulations are all extremely high quality and make this little amp perfect for practice at home and for use in the studio. It’s capable of high volumes without any problems and the onboard reverb and delay are again what you would expect from boss. The amp can also function as a USB audio interface and there is a great iOS app which allows control of the amp remotely. I purchased the “optional” BT-Dual Bluetooth receiver which plugs in on the back of the amp and allows Bluetooth audio to be streamed to the amp. The adapter also supports Bluetooth MIDI when used with some Boss products.

Great Home Amp
This does exactly what Boss say about it. It makes a great and flexible (and very portable) amp for use at home. It is really good for just plugging in and playing - with a pretty decent selection of amps and basic effects all on tap. And there's a simple and basic looper built in for 'solo' jamming around, too.It has been carefully designed to be easy and fun. It's so much easier at home than the full amp(s) and pedals rig.It doesn't have the 'heft' for gigging - although there is a stereo line out capability that I guess could be used for that purpose. All in all, a brilliant little package.

Only a guitar amp not for singers
Despite there being a Mic input on this you can't use Mic and Guitar same time, so what good is that for busking? This is a real stupid idea. Then you have to buy batteries which is not good for the environment let alone cost. All amps have built in batteries these days but not Boss amps, oh and then you dont get Bluetooth built in either you have to buy another part. Talk about milking it. Its suppose to be busking friendly, it is for guitarists only but for singer songwriters its useless. After there amazing Street Cube they go down hill by introducing this? Not recommended for busking as its only a guitar amp or just a singers amp but not both. Very disappointing.
