Great intro to the world of coding!
We purchased this for our children as a fun way to introduce them to creating sequences in a coding format that is both fun and educational. Awbie is a wonderful way of learning the basics of coding skills, starting out with the simplest steps and building to more complex sequences that are more challenging in a non-forceful, non-failure driven way.The coding pieces are simple, easy to use and attach to each other without being cumbersome. The game itself is enticing and go-at-your-own-pace, so even the most inexperienced players can have an opportunity to learn. Those with skills will enjoy the game as well, and Osmo has several additional coding games for more intermediate levels as well. All in all, this has been a wonderful game for our children to learn sequence, logic and solve simple puzzles.

Our 5 Year Old Loves It
We purchased this for a fun learning activity we could add to our home school repertoire, and an engaging quiet time activity, and our 5 year old absolutely loves it. She is on the brink of reading, but not quite there yet, and is able to navigate and play this game with very little guidance. Having her hand(s) over part of the tiles when pressing the 'run' button seems to be her most frequent obstacle, for which the app doesn't offer a lot of guidance, but it's nudges for everything else seem to be spot on. I'm impressed with the design and experience they have built for this game.

Great introduction to coding, fun to play
My 5 year old loves this. He plays it for about an hour at a time. Its a great intro to coding and the tangible pieces and the character makes it fun for my kid as he plays it and keeps him interested. You have to move the characters using codes and then collect strawberries. Later on you use your strawberries to build things in your virtual village. The longer the code the more points you get for strawberries collected. You have to collect a certain amount of strawberries to advance to the next level. Love the parent app that it shows you the stats of my kids codes.

A must to help kids with school
These are what you want to disguise learning as fun. My kids love these and cant get enough. The game you can get for these are crafted with quality. Great problem solving games along with disguising serving pizza with math skills and keeping kids attention. My 3 and 6 year old cant get enough of these and I dont mind if they play for a while cause I know they are learning.

My some LOVES it. Great problem solving
I’m impressed with my 6 year old’s ability to use this game. If I didn’t know better, I would have rated it as 8 or 9+ but he absolutely loves it and doesn’t get stumped often. In fact, when he does, by the time I come over and try and help figure it out, he gets it before I do! Great brain game in my opinion.

I bought it for my kindergarten classroom and then for my grandchildren!
This is coding at it's beginning. The game builds with their age and skill. It is self teaching but so much fun when you join in. From 5-8 all the kids really enjoy it and strategize together.

Product is pretty cool. Our oldest daughter (7) loves playing with this and picked up the concept fairly quickly. It is one of the Osmo items that she most wants to play. Easily fits into the rest of the Osmo items and works well for math and puzzles.

Didáctico y divertido
Me preocupaba que mi hija ya fuera muy grande para jugarlo, tiene seis años, pero resultó ser el mejor regalo. Le divierte y aprende a resolver problemas a la vez.

Love awbie our favourite
I am really impressed with the quality of this product, my 5 year old loves it. Not too interested in the word game at the moment, but loves the numbers and tangram. I purchased 'pizza co' and 'coding awbie' separately and he loves these too.All the osmo apps are free but you do need the osmo stand and reflector for the iPad or tablet (we use iPad). I did not buy the base for monster app, we found a white board or paper (but you have to keep using a new piece of paper with each drawing) did the job (sorry osmo) same with the newton app, we found the reflector could see lego pieces and used this info to make the game playable without purchasing all the pieces. I do highly recommend and am saving for the detective board for geography.. well done osmo.Nothing in this starter kit can't be done on the cheap, such as good old fashion pen and paper because of this it makes osmo a lot of money, but I think the next generation just learn more interactively with tech. I'm happy because I got a discount at Christmas, I also found with research that I could save some money by buying the genius starter kit and adding other games that need interactive board and pieces etc. you might find you can by the base and reflector and then just get the free apps, that way you can use pen and paper for e.g. And then decide if you want to pay up. Although they do grow with this product, at least over the next 10 years!
