**UPDATE 5/7/25**7 months in... My old batteries would need replacing by now. These just took me on a 5 mile round trip over on a rough shoulder with a steep hill. Even though these are lower capacity compared to the old lead acid, they more than make up for it in weight savings. Essentially making it easier for the batteries to move the chair.I have a set of smaller ones in my cart for a RC lawnmower project I'm working on. Compared to the old batteries, I wish I could give these 10 stars.**original Review**A few weeks in, and 5 stars isn't enough. Everything I say below, and more. I've only charged these things a few times now, whereas with the SLA, I'd have to worry about topping off, or doing a maintenance cycle, which only seemed to kill them faster. These just perform. My range has increased significantly, but I don't have actual measurements. I reflexively look at my battery gauge, but I'm always surprised that I still have charge. I think the primary reason for the range increase is weight. These things feel like air compared to my old batteries.please read my original review below******I bought these to replace the batteries in my Pride G0-Chair. I've been through 3 sets of the "Recommended SLA" batteries from the manufacturer, in three years.I don't use my chair every day, but when I do, I'm usually pretty hard on it. That said, the last set, which I bought from Interstate battery directly, only lasted mere 8 months. I was down to about .3 of a mile before charging, when the specifications list 8+ miles per charge.Though these come out to only 2/3 the original capacity, (12Ah vs. 18Ah) I was able to travel over 5 miles over 4 days on a single charge. I wanted to test the built in BMS's, and I also decided to order a charger specific to 24V, so I didn't charge it. The BMS safety kicked in and shut down my chair at my neighbors house. THIS IS NOT A NEGATIIVE!!!!! Regular SLA or AGM will let you discharge them to death.... literally. The protection worked as hoped, and as a bonus, I confirmed that the battery gauge is "close enough" to read these. If it starts blinking red on the controller, get to an outlet, or get home quick. The BMS doesn't play. I will say, they hold the green far longer, and once your into the yellow, they do fall off faster than I expected, but that is the nature of Lithium vs. lead acid.These do not fit my battery box , but I knew that going in. However, I am going to modify the box, and given the space, I will be able to install the charger on board. Which brings me to my final point.These things are LIGHT. I mean feather weight in comparison to the SLA/AGM batteries they replaced. Even if they matched in size and capacity, I can't imagine them weighing much more. They are literally about 1/4 the weight. The entire battery box weighs less now, than just one of the old batteries by itself.****NOTE****I had to change the terminal connections and am making modifications to my chair to accommodate these batteries, and have a good understanding of electronics, and electrical and charging systems.I used to build defibrillator's for the medical industry.Do this at your own risk!!! Even though it says you can use an SLA charger, I recommend a 29.2 volt charger specifically for LifePo4 batteries, if you are on a 24v system like I am.Last word: These are light, powerful, and charge relatively quickly at the recommended 5 Amps. Because they are so light, I plan to build a second "backup" for extended range. Even 4 of these only weigh as much as one of my old batteries. If anything changes, I will update.**Update** Okay, still 5 stars. Wish I could give 6. On my second charge cycle, and even more impressed.I don't know about longevity yet, but given my initial experience, and if they last even close to the specified number of charge cycles, these batteries will actually outlive me.

I purchased this battery to replace the worn-out SLA battery in the small UPS (uninterruptable power supply) I use to back up my desktop PC. The decision to switch from SLA to Lithium-iron-phosphate battery chemistry was easy as LiFePO4 batteries cost about the same as SLA batteries but are much lighter and last much longer than SLA batteries. My UPS is over ten years old and, at the time I purchased it, SLA batteries were considered the battery of choice. If purchased today, it’s highly likely the battery would be LiFePO4 technology. LiFePO4 batteries are easily confused with Li-ion batteries commonly used with portable power tools. LiFePO4 batteries are more reliable, have longer lifespans, and are safer than Li-ion batteries. The battery easily fits into the same space as the SLA battery it replaced. I haven’t needed to find out if the battery works as well in a power out scenario, however, my UPS runs a test program several times a week so I’m certain I can rely on it should the need arise.

So far so good. Using this battery to replace my home alarm back up unit. A bit lighter than the seal lead acid battery.

In my 62 years. this is my first review. Now. About. this battery. when I first got it. I I would had Given. them a 5 star but Through the 90 days that I had it. I was getting less and less distance off the. charge. To where it wasn't worth charging. anymore. With the batteries I also. bought. a 24 Volt 5 amp lithium life PO4 charger So I was using the right charger for the batteries. Lithium. batteries. Here's the fun part. I try locating the company. on on any and every type thought I could come up with the locate the company. And of course, I know they're in China. Tell no reveal Gotta hold of Amazon. They gave me a 14 or 16 number. to call China. I had no luck. Got back with Amazon. and explain to them how they had this wonderful guarantee on the batteries 5 years or 2000 recharge in 90 days, maybe 15 Charges. my bad forgot to tell you what I was using it for. My mobility scooter. It took two batteries to operate it. Amazon told me again. There was nothing they could do about the warranty that I had to get ahold of the company. And you know how that went. But I was consistent with Amazon. and ended up with less than half of my money that I spent for it. In reality, could have been nothing so again, I guess thanks for Amazon. So I hope you learned something from my text. Like I said, first time I left the text for you all to learn From this. What I did learn from this is I'm going to American company. and pay a little more. for the support with that. Thanks for reading my text.

Top came off but nothing hot glue couldn't fix

March 2025 - These batteries have been excellent since install September 2023, worth every extra penny. Much stronger and more capacity than AGM. Users need to realize that these should have the correct, higher voltage charger. The other thing is that this type of battery does not slowly degrade like lead acid or AGM as they deplete the charge, they die, right now, with little or no warning. If machine has battery indicator for conventional, it won’t show that battery may be nearly out of charge, they go full steam, until they don’t and then they’re done, with no limping “back to the barn.” Thats not a defect, it’s a characteristic. Will update as time goes on as I have with other batteries.
