I dont often write reviews or give 5 stars. I will make an exception for this square, the look and feel of this simple tool is exceptional. 5 stars is not enough. Probably one of the top 3 tools I have purchased this year. In a world of cheap plastic this product went above an beyond expectations. This would make a great inexpensive gift for somebody that spends time in their shed!

The 45 degree end
The forty five degree end is a bit weird and so different to the classic carpenters squares I can see a reason for it but I think I would prefer a square end. The Blade is excellent for marking and really quite thick have not yet tried it with a marking knife. My thinking is its too well made to use for cutting against. It stands up well on its own but not well enough to use as a drill guide.. Its big enough for most marking out I have big squares not as easy to use and the price was very good I may buy another while they are available.
