How thick is the tape (not width)? Is it thin and flexible so it can be worn on the fingers without inhibiting movement?

The tape tape is paper thin but still can restrict your movement there is other stuff out there better than this

Is this tape any good for protection from the sun? I have been using sunblock to cover and protect a tattoo, but would like something stronger.
