Tether Tools is my go too
I only use Tether Tools cables for my photo tethering. They are durable and I never have issues with dropped connections. I bought these to update one of my setups from the old style TetherGuard and I like them much better. I was hesitant at first because of the price but after using it I am glad I got them. I like the magnetic engagement as well as the dual option to keep it locked in or allow it to breakaway.I typically have it locked in. This kit also has the support for either the other end to secure it to a table or you can use the cable part on a secondary cable. That way you can have a travel cable and a studio cable both with the attachment and then the tether leash on the camera.I will end up buy-in another for my other camera as well.

Solid Upgrade
I've used the previous version for years but lost or broke the ones I had and so bought four of these to upgrade the cameras I have and so far this is a solid improvement. If only I could get rid of USB-mini my life would be way better.

Great for portraits
Work like a charm. I have already used it a lot. Simple to set up and use.

Magnet not strong enough
It's a good product overall but if you are looking for security then the tether block is best. The magnet doesn't hold tight. In the wrong position the cable can be pulled outAlso depending on where it is mounted it might be uncomfortable while using the camera especially for photography.

Not bad, but 3m adhesive appears to be bad.
I can not remove the 3m backing on the product without tearing off the whole backing. My guess is that these sat in the heat somewhere and the adhesive broke down and actually adhered to the backing. The idea is solid, just beware this could be a problem.
