Good string for the price!
I couldn't find a string for my antique re-curve at any of the local sporting goods stores, so i checked Amazon. Found this one for a third of the price most stores charge. Decided to give it a try. It is perfect.

This is a great bow string thay already has the finger guards on it. If you have tried putting them on a bow string after the fact you know the struggle. Well struggle no more with this .

Worked just fine on an old Bear 48-inch bow for my wife and daughters to use.

Perfect for old bow
I gifted my old fiberglass bow, that is at least 30 years old now to my 8 year old son. This now string fit perfect

Wrong size. Looks like a nice string but can't use.
I just got a new (used) bow which had a 48" string still in the package but was not as nice as this one. So, I ordered a 48" one of these. It is 4 inches shorter and will not go on the bow. I re-read the description and am still confused that a 48" string is only 44 inches, yet the other one is labeled 48" and is actually 48". In any case, be sure to measure your string and order the correct "actual measurement" size. Bummer, it looks comfortable for the fingers.
