We planted this last fall and it came up well, but there were a number of weeds which came up too (hopefully weren't in the grass seed). Clearing out the weeds has left 'bald' spots and we are still waiting for the grass to cover them (finally just put additional seed on them and are waiting for it to come up).

This is expensive but when you want your front yard to dominate, there is no other seed.BTW the seller sent me uncoated seeds despite it saying its coated.. Either way the pic speaks for itself. This was mowed at 3.125 inches. Grows like weeds and I barely watered it. This is not home depot or lowes grade stuff. This is real grass. Only the best for your home.Thank you barenbrug for this product.

Germination percentage was low and the seed did not perform as hoped for being so expensive. Have had better luck with other less expensive fescues. Only bought because I learned that our local PGA Golf course used RTF seed, however this company's version did not measure up. Thanks.

Great product! Very pleased!

I have been using this one for about 3 years on overseeding projects. It germinates pretty quickly ( about a week) and after 1-2 seasons is ultra thick and heat resistant. I live in Kansas and had my water bill cut by 60% after the second season when this was fully established. Highly recommend.
