Great purchase!
We have a super small backyard so there’s no where for my son to practice launching golf balls with his driver or irons. This has been the perfect solution! He is able to practice his full swing plus get more warm ups before tournaments. It’s also held up great being staked into the ground during some very windy weather in the south. Very happy with this net!

Sturdy, long-lasting, uses a metal base and is wider and easier to set up.
I used to go through a golf net per year as the typical ones you see here don't hold up to the sun light and the poles tend to disintegrate and fail. I'm into year two and all is well. This net is wider and easier to set up. I used and old pole from the cheap net (still intact) and arched the old net (cut it out of the cheap one) over the top of my new one so I can hit flop shots. This one will probably fail eventually, but will only require replacement poles as the rest of the unit is metal. Net-net (not pun intended) if I had to, I'd re-purchase this net.

Sturdy
I've used this for a bit now, and it's held up in the weather all summer being outdoors. Having it outdoors now for a full summer, there are some rust signs starting in the joints, but it's holding firm. The netting and back drop hold up well too. I had to use some extra clips to hold the black target on to the frame better - just got some simple clips from hardware store and that did the trick as the clips they included were flimsy. Easy and cheap fix for an otherwise sturdy product. The bag is great. Holds all the parts together nicely.

What a net!
Fantastic. This is my new go-to morning routine swing practice. Love the easy setup and quality material.

Great golf practice net
This net is so much easier for one person to set up and take down than the tent-like nets with those short-sectioned fiberglass poles. If it takes10 minutes it means you stopped for a coffee break 😀. Glad I made the purchase.

Don’t waste your money
Do not buy. The poles are garbage. I used it one day and it collapsed. Emailed the seller haven’t heard anything. I’ve been waiting all winter to assemble it. I’m disappointed that Amazon is selling this junk.

Nice. Sturdy. Easy to assemble.
It didn't take me long to figure out how to assemble it, even if there were no instructions. The description says this is heavy duty, and that's why I got it. Not the best golfer in the world, I wanted something that would withstand the chaos and natural disaster that constitutes my golf swing. It comes with several soft golf balls to hit into the net. This is fine and dandy, but nothing quite replaces the feel of hitting a real, live (so to speak) golf ball. So, I broke out the real buggers and begin hitting into the net. So far, I've hit probably a thousand balls into the net. It's held up well. I leave it assembled and outside, and it's held up to the weather decently. A stiff wind WILL knock it over, however. As to heavy duty, that's why I only gave it 4 stars. I've hit several of my typical errant shots right off the back bar brace that runs along the back of the net. It's but a nice little dent--a reminder of my burgeoning skills--complete with the golf ball dimples. Currently, I have two such dents. It seems to be holding up despite the abuse, but I expected something called "heavy duty" to withstand such impacts with a yawn and a sheepish grin. No such luck. One of my spectacularly mishits (again using a real golf ball) hit the back bar with enough force and with the right angle that it deflected over my head and landed on the roof of my house. Hmmm. I was the one with the sheepish grin, yes sir.I do put two bricks on the sides to keep the net firmly anchored. It does come with its own anchors, but I wasn't able to use them because the ground upon which it sits is too rocky. Not the golf net's problem. That one is my Arizona yard's personal demon. You might not have such a problem. The hitting mat is awkward in my opinion, being so small, and unless it is anchored it will certainly move when you strike the ball, which is irritating. I even tried to anchor it, but my trench digging golf swings soon uprooted it, much to my annoyance. Also, it will raise the ball up slightly unnaturally, so you will need to find something else to stand on to make sure it is the same height as the mat. Nope, not for me. I bought a 4x5 mat that I could stand on.Over all, I recommend this net!
