Saved my poor pup's cold paws!
The media could not be loaded. I live in the Midwest, where it's been super snowy and no warmer than 20 degrees or so for some time now. The cold/snow has been absolutely killing my poor Happy, who couldn't last longer than a minute or so outside without starting to limp and then having to stop walking all together.Getting them on at first was a bit tricky, (he doesn't love having his feet touched) but nothing a little peanut butter and positive feedback couldn't handle! (If your dog is like this, do what I did and smear peanut butter on the dishwasher for him to lick off while you get them on, lol). Also, make are you strap them tighter than you might think you need to, otherwise they will slide off.We got outside and he adapted IMMEDIATELY. He barely even did the funny walk of a dog wearing shoes for the first time, ha.Happy is not exactly a high-energy dog, so seeing him prance around like this made me so excited!

Great for dog with rear limb weakness
I have a boxer that weighs around #68. He was diagnosed with degenerative myelopathy about a year and a half ago. He has severe rear limb weakness due to the disease. We have wood floors and he just slips and slides and it is very difficult for him to get around if he's not on a rug. These shoes have been working really well for him. They give him the grip he needs to be able to make it from point a to point b without falling and hurting himself. I did get a large to be safe but I could have probably put a medium on him and it would have been fine, but I hate returning things so I went with a little bigger. They are very good quality and are made with thick material. They have been staying on as well as a shoe can stay on a dog. He drags his back left leg every now and then, so I will see the shoe slip off occasionally. These are great shoes.

Surprisingly Durable
I have to admit that I was very surprised at how well these boots held-up on a 3mi hike over dirt, rocks, gravel, & a tiny stream (not waterproof). I'd say approx 95% of that hike was gravel...boots didn't tear & my pup's paws were fine. Used one of the boots a second time (mostly a packed-dirt trail) & the boot still looks great. Going to use these regularly on our hikes to see how long they hold up.

Velcro Strap NOT high enough up the ankle.
We ordered these prior to taking our little Schnauzer to Colorado for Christmas. Since she's a California girl who seeks the sun-&-heat... I figured we better get some "boots" for her little prissy feet, in the Colorado winter! hahaha!I carefully measured our dog's feet (twice) - per the advice on the product listing - and ordered the X-Small.When they arrived - we could see they were nicely made, materials seemed to be good quality, fairly flexible, and they slipped right onto our dog's feet with a good fit around the paw area - BUT, the velcro straps which you're supposed to tighten around the legs to keep them up snug, was WAY too far down on the boot and ended up being under the back part of the dog's foot. She was sorta standing on it - the velcro strap - like, at the back of her paw (heel) - and she went nuts. Hated 'em. NO WAY was she going to walk around on those. The antics and 15 seconds of whirling gyrations she went through to get them off was hysterical !!! and then, just like that, all 4 of those booties were on the living room carpet, with our dog sitting there staring at us with a look that said "REALLY?!?"Needless to say... these are going back...

Measure first!
Make sure you measure first, I assumed my 98lb Lab would be an XL but he was actually a L, and they fit him perfectly. The strap wraps around his ankle and back onto itself. The only thing I worry about is over time the velcro will get full of hair and lose it's stickiness, so I am ordering a 2nd pari as a backup. He is getting old and can't walk on our new hardwood floors without slipping all over and these have made a world of difference. They must be comfortable because he hasn't tried to take them off once. He has been out in the snow and they did get wet but seem to dry pretty quick, not like a quickdry fabric but they don't stay soaked all day either. I really like them and the price seems pretty reasonable.

Prevent slipping, but not a permanent solution to the "hard wood floor problem"
I bought these dog boots for my sisters elderly dog. The poor thing struggles with slipping around on the hard wood floors. Sometimes we have to help her up. I bought these with the hope that they would help her be a more independent doggie.Pros:- They certainly do help help her with getting up and down on the hardwood floor!- They provide protection for her paws. Would be good for short jaunts on hot asphalt.- She doesn't mind wearing them at all! Your mileage may vary.- They are funny looking and make us smileCons:- They affect her gait. If she kept them on all the time it might cause joint problems.- They have a tendency to slip off unless you strap them on real tight. I'd worry about blood flow with prolonged usage. My Opinion:These are great for somewhat short periods of time, but I don't view them as a perfect solution to the hard wood floor problem that so many elderly dogs have. You can't expect to leave them on your dog all the time. A great product as long as your expectations are realistic.4 out of 5

Very well designed item for protecting a dog's foot when sore or injured. The mesh top provides good ventilation. Velcro strap fastens the boot securely to a dog's leg. Our dog has a knee and toe injury so she tends to drag the front of the boot when she walks. I reinforced the outside of the boot toe with a small piece of duct tape which prevents the boot from getting torn when walking on hard surfaces. Inside the house these boots provide good traction thereby preventing the dog from slipping on hard flooring surfaces. Good value for the price.

Good boots, wrong size.
Writing this review without actually using the product as they sent me the wrong size and I had to return it. I ordered an extra small, but based on the measurements, the boot that arrived are clearly either a medium or small. Much too large for my chihuahua-pug mix.The boots themselves seem very well made. The adjustment strap is easy to use. The material looks good and looks like it will survive in the dryer.Rating it at 3 stars because of the seller. The boots themselves would get 4.5 - 5 stars. Unfortunately I don't think I'll be purchasing the boots again as I'm not sure if the seller will provide the proper size if I re-order and I would rather not go through the process of returning the item again.

Good quality product
Very well made with good materials. My dog is used to wearing this type of boot. However, there is no tread or grips on the soles. The first time he wore them he slide everywhere and fell twice. I like everything else about these boots so as per the pic I posted here, I took my hot glue gun and added some treads. Seems to work great now, dog hardly slipped afterwards.

Measure 2x order 1x
The boots seem like a decent quality for drier outdoor weather. My dog was in between the medium and large but more towards the large size so I sized up. They are huge.... I wanted to return them to get the size medium for him but I would be paying half the return cost in shipping so it wouldn't be worth the money. Really triple check your measurements before you order.

Maybe not good for larger dogs?
I bought the size recommended for my German Shephard, fit the pads barely and the opening is very difficult to get her foot into...should go higher up and open up more to get foot in.

They stayed on!!
So far, so good! My shih-tzu / chihuahua just had his first trial wear of these boots and they stayed on for his entire walk. He sounded like a horse galloping down the sidewalk, but the fit and flexibility seemed great. I’m so happy to have found a pair of breathable booties that are appropriate for seasons outside of winter - as dogs sweat through their paws and would be incredibly uncomfortable in waterproof wear. The city streets and sidewalks are so horrendously filthy - covered in urine, saliva, faeces, construction debris, glass — you name it. You couldn’t pay me to walk barefoot in the city and my dog shouldn’t either. He is constantly getting rashes in between his paws and dried out/ worn paw pads. After wearing the rubber PAWZ (size small) balloons all winter, his feet are now extremely sensitive and require year-round protection. Especially considering how hot the pavement is in the summer days, I needed a solution. So far, I’m very pleased with these boots in size small. The first pair I ordered were too big - size medium - and my dog’s paws measured just under 2.5 inches in length. I had to return these, as they were too big and also had some threads coming out, which made me question the quality. That said, the size small I ordered in replacement were both a better fit and better quality - no loose threads. Although he was able to walk in them without a problem, I am ordering an extra small for his back paws only, as I think they will be less awkward and give my fur-baby more control with his footing.
