Perfect for 12 month old
The media could not be loaded. The melissa and doug wooden ocean slide is such a big hit. My daughter got it for her first birthday and its been the most played with toy since. The toy is made of a lightweight wood that is pretty good quality. It's lighter than i thought it would be, being made of wood. My daughter can pick it up and tip it over very easily. It's good quality though, no splinters or any defects in the wood. The colors are nice and vibrant, great for kids. The little rolling "balls" sometimes get stuck but they're very cute. I love that you can buy different sets of balls online to add to the collection. The moving parts are cute on this toy, the opening and closing of the whales mouth is her favorite. Overall I highly recommend this toy! Especially for around the ages of 8-12 months. Ball drops and putting objects into something is a great developmental milestone!

Super Fun Toy, But Be Cautious of One Thing!
This Melissa & Doug Rollables Wooden Ocean Slide is such a hit with my toddler! It's super cute, with vibrant colors and fun ocean animals that my little one loves to watch roll down the slide. The wood feels really sturdy, and itâs nice and smoothâno sharp edges, so I donât have to worry about safety. My kid loves playing with it and even gets excited when the animals zoom down the ramp!One thing I did want to point out, though, is that the blue plastic wave piece on top can actually be removed. While it doesnât seem like a huge deal, if youâre not careful, it could be safety hazard for younger kids. I just took it off and set it aside for now.Other than that, this toy is awesome for developing motor skills and keeping my toddler entertained for hours. Itâs simple, but my kid keeps coming back to it every day. Definitely recommend itâjust keep an eye on that wave piece!

Love this little slide!
The slide is built well and it is light weight. The little sea animal balls that come with it are soft. That is a nice touch! My daughter loves to play with this slide! I love that the ramp at the bottom can be lifted to store the balls inside.
