Shipped and arrived ontime. The item was easy to install and worked perfect after install. I hooked up the heatsink/fan unit and worked great. It was RGB fan I got from buyin my Ryzen 7 3700X CPU with the Wraith Prism RGB heatsink/cooler. It fit perfectly on the bracket and is now cooling my CPU and it has RBG by using the USB cable that hooks from a socket on the heatsink case. It hooks to a USB hookup on your motherboard. (you use one of the same hookups to hookup the USB on the front of your computer case. And you download the softwar to make it work. Works nice. So I now also have a RGB lighting inside the case beside the fans. :)

Bought because the mounting bracket tabs (blue part in this product) broke on my kid's CPU cooler. Didn't have to pull the whole thing, these tabs are a factory fit to the original plate. Made swapping over a snap. Feels nice and solid.

Had to use this to install a cooler on a used Asus M5A97 LE R2.0.I purchased the board to use as a server, and it came installed with a steel backplate and raised bolts that looked like it was for a waterblock.Needless to say, a standard AMD Socket air cooler wouldn't mount to that, so this turned out to be the perfect candidate for reverting to stock.Installation was a breeze. After removing the motherboard from the case just remove the screws from this bracket put the black backplate behind the motherboard with the threaded shafts seated into the bracket mounting holes on the PCB. Hold the backplate in place and set the blue brackets on top and thread the included screws through the blue brackets and the PCB into the backplate. Don't over-tighten since its just plastic, should hold fine.I only just installed the cooler today, so I can't speak to the actual longevity. It looks like it should hold up, hopefully I won't need to update this review in the future.

Good CPU base replacement, only issue was I did not notice was that it has only one center clip point for the fan. On my fan clamp, I have one center clamp point on one side and two clap points off center. Luckily I could use my old part for one side. Fit perfect I could reuse my back plate and screws so it was good.

Took my cooling setup back to stock and didnt have stock plate. This worked perfectly. Did not have instructions so if anyone is having trouble, the black backplate goes behind mobo and the blue clips go on top, and screws go in top and downward.

Install always sucks, not the product but the time, cleaning and water block, looks easy but, it's am3...

Overall the product was fine but the missing screw was a nuisance. I had to go to Lowes and buy a 4 pack of the right size screws to get one for installing the bracket. Annoying but the bracket is fine.

I was really puzzled when I tried to install this. I didn't realize I needed to pull the existing plate off the BACK of the motherboard and replace it with this. Some instructions would have been nice.
