Sphere Turf Rake

Main debris on my artificial turf is pine needles. Can't really see that it is far better than standard rake, and push broom works too; but if my turf was new, I think this would be preferred to groom the area with minimal wear.

Great Turf Rake, but be prepared to do a lot of raking as you have to apply multiple passes of filler. I'm only giving it four stars, because it would have been nicer to be a maybe another foot wider. Maybe another alternative to this rake is a wide push broom, I seen a couple of contractors using it for artificial grass, while I haven't tried it seems to have done a good job.

It does the job very well. I am a tall person and the handle is not as long as I would like to help my back so I have hunch over a bit to use. But for people under 6 feet it should be fine.

I had my turf down for less than a year it was looking about ten years old because of my dogs. Anyone that has a Golden Retriever will tell you how much they shed. Well we have two that were shedding so much that our dog run turf was looking old, dirty and second guessing our decision to lay it down. We tried a traditional rake with power washing, but that did not help much. I am so glad I took a chance on this rake because it revitalized my turf. I wish I would have taken a before and after shot of the turf as well as how much dog hair was lifted. The dog run was quickly becoming an eye sore, but now it is clean and imitating real grass again. I would highly recommend this rake to anyone that has turf. It may not be the sturdiest rake I own, but it exceeded my expectations on the turf!

The Sphere Turf rake works good for removing larger leaves from artificial turf but not smaller leaves. I also wanted to use the rake to refresh the look of the turf but didn't get the results I was looking for. I may need to add more sand to get the desired effect.

Kind of pricey but it works well. Have turf and used two different rakes and the pulled the blades of grass up and they left pieces behind. I have two dogs and wild life using my turf to poop. Big dog mass pick ups Little dog little poops. Both leave little pieces last part of poop . And the rebbits leave their little presents. These go deep in the turf. Can’t see them but can feel them with bare feet. Even the scooper misses them. This rake flips it to th surface and gets raked along with leaves from my fruit trees with no damage to the turf. Problem solved. Very happy.

Recently had artificial turf installed. This rake works fine for large leaves, however, it doesn't work very well for the small narrow leaves from a bottlebrush tree. The 18" wide rake does cover a wider area, but the rake is too wide to rake the leaves into a dust pan. For the price, I thought it would perform much better.

I have been looking for something that would work on the turf. This tool works great. First it was well worth the money to get turf because we have 3 dogs. So no more replacing the lawn. Now I have a great tool to keep the leaves picked up.
