It's reasonably priced and has a creative design that allows attachment to table tops, headboards, or used as a stand-alone desk lamp. However, there are two design features that are very troublesome: 1) placing the control at the extreme end of the "lamp" rather than the base (or universally) makes for a constant tug-a-war between positioning in the best location for illumination vs ease of turning it off last thing at night or first thing in the morning. A minor redesign would fix the problem. 2) the light does have three settings and dimmability - BUT that feature is all driven by a single "switch". Consequently, each on and off cycle requires you to cycle through the alternatives.

I'm a general contractor and often perform detailed / tiny work on various things (electronics, wiring, filing). I needed a small light I could move around. This little light is great.I often use a bulky and big DeWalt flashlight which works but sometimes I want something small and light with a flexible neck.Pros- Stands on its own.- Flexible goose neck- Dimmable- 3 light types (warm, kinda white, really white)- Has a clipDeltas- Battery life is IMO short; at full brightness on really white setting (which my eyes need) is about 4 hours- Takes 4 hours to fully charge- Digital button on end of light is very easy to accidentally touch; have lost power a few times when light was on when it shouldn't have been- It's a little short; would be nice if it was 2 feet tall; much of my work involves working on things that are 12" or taller- Not tough - can't get it wet nor bang it up; I have to protect it

I have 2 of these in my home and adore them. One is mounted on my headboard and the other I use on a side table when sewing. They are flexible and easy to use. I had to replace one after a year because the charger port connection became loose. This was my fault because I had it positioned where the recliner moved the cord every time I got up or down. The one on the headboard is used everyday and is still in perfect condition- going on 2 years. They charge quickly and are easily portable. Great for reading or sewing during a blackout. I keep mine plugged in most of the time so they are fully charged when needed.

I am very happy with this new light. I am using it attached to my headboard on a metal bed for low lighting while watching tv at night and for reading. The light is very attractive and sleek, so it does not detract from the look of the bed. I did attach a longer usb cable so that the cable would reach further. The usb that is included would work fine if using the light on a desk or side table. Despite the “clamp” being designed more for attaching to a desk, it worked effortlessly for attached to the smooth, round bar on my headboard and it is well padded. I really love the touch sensor controls for on/off, light mode, and brightness. The neck adjusts in every position, including being able to twist the lit side away from you, and it stays where you put it. And, I like the fact that it has an included rechargeable battery in case you ever want to use it in locations away from power. The light is soft, not glaring. This is a great little light for reading, but it would not be enough for doing things that require greater detail.

A great light to have on hand for many uses -- as a personal reading light that can go with you anywhere, as a very small desk lamp that takes up very little space. Perfect for use during a power outage! I teach private music lessons and my teaching room doesn't have a window so if the power goes out when I have a music lesson, it can be frightening for the young students. With this rechargeable desk lamp there will be light in a second and no panic! And the base acts like a clamp to make it easy to attach to chair backs or arms or a nearby table if you wish. To use the clamp, unscrew the large section at the base of the upright part of the lamp and the two layers of the base separate to be the clamp. Very ingenious!

UPDATE: The seller immediately stepped in to remedy my problem The lamp is working fine. A step in the charging/on/off process was missing from the instructions. Excellent customer service from the seller. Nice compact lamp. The touch pad is a little sensitive and finicky. I'd prefer it be on the base of the lamp with 2 separte controls for light and dimming. I thought it would be a little brighter but will still suit my purposes well.ORIGINIAL: I received this today. Fully charged it until the indicator light turned green. Turn on the power switch and.... NOTHING. It's either a piece of junk or the fact that since there is no protective packaging inside the outer box the lamp can be easily damaged or destroyed. Either way, I have a brand new unit that is worthless. It's going back to Amazon.

This light is fabulous! It weighs practically nothing, provides fine even lighting. I am keen that these things have the right color temperature and are bright enough. Not only does this light satisfy those requirements, but it actually dims up or down with a touch. I use it on my piano so I don't have a light there when I am not playing, and constantly find it useful to light a surface for reading, writing or providing light when my hands need to be free. I use this light probably at least five days out of every week. You won't find a better option than this terrific light.

A shortage of electrical outlets and desk space limited my options for improving the lighting at my work space. So I was looking for a rechargeable lamp that I could clip onto a shelf. Voila! This fit the bill! The base is sturdy and wide enough to fit onto a 1" thick shelf. The neck is sufficiently flexible enough to light the area you want to light. My only concern is that because the lamp is clipped upside down, the neck won't hold the light at a higher level than shown on the picture without gravity taking hold and lowering the level. But it's not in the way and it provides enough light for my needs. I usually run the USB cord along the shelf and down to my desktop USB so I can still use it if it needs recharging.
