The media could not be loaded.  There's so much functionality in this robot and it comes with over 600 pcs parts which can be built over 20 preset forms, such as the robot on the cover, motorcycle, dinosaur, crane , etc., or even create whatever you can imagine.The components are very much alike Lego parts , with 600 pcs at the first glance in four plastic bags, it is both impressive and intimidating, thus the first thing i do is to categorize them in colors and download the APP for the user guidance. I have to say the APP helped me walk through each steps easily by illustrating the details. I spent around 5 hours to build the robot. After the final step, the app then guides me through the bluetooth connections steps and then the operational steps. I do not know coding but in the APP it looks like it is as simple as stacking these bricks.I really like the concept , since it is a combination of Lego bricks w/ more versatile abilities. The kit has tons of possibilities and It is a good gift option for techie kids or Lego fans.

The best thing is that it really works for kids ~8 years old. Great build quality, plenty models to build and control makes it a really attractive toy for kids (not only :)). As part of this whole STEM idea, you can bring programming concepts to your kids in a very accessible way. The Apitor Kit app, which is needed to connect with the blocks via Bluetooth, offers the built-in programming courses to present the main concepts of programming. Courses are bound to the brick models and show how to use motors and sensors. Each course explains some of the programming blocks and allows to see the results in a moving bricks model, like moving crane, playing special sounds etc. After figuring how all the things work you can have a lot of fun building and programming anything you want, only your imagination is the limit :).

This item arrived on time. My grandson loves it. He started putting it together immediately. Good quality with an educational component that interfaces with an app.

Not bad

This is probably one of the best gifts I could have gotten for my grandson. With 10 options of designs that you can program it is a great way to entertain an 8yr old for a long time. Once we put together the first one the app for it to code was simple and easy to do, even for this grandma. The robot makes noise, has flashing lights that you can change the color and plays music. We had it playing over Alexa. Will definitely be getting him more of these in the future.

Cool motors and control app. We accidentally overloaded hi-speed motor so some inner wheels got damaged – I contacted the seller and got answer that the replacement is sent. Everything work now, so thanks again!Be careful – do not overload motors and do not rotate them manually while being off)

My 6-year-old son is a Lego lover, and this product brings his joy to a new level. We first spent one hour to finish the build part, and I started to guide him how to "write code" via the App. The App is kid-friend, and my son can easily drag and drop the logic unit to program. There are so many programming units that an 8th grade student can probably still enjoy playing it!

Estaba buscando un kit steam para mi hija de 7 años, Y fue una muy buena opción Apitor, aún no llegamos a la programación pero mi hija se ha alegrado mucho con el armado del primero de doce retos.

Super!! Si requiere ayuda de un adulto ya que unas piezas están pequeñas, pero mi hijo y su papá armaron el primer modelo en dos días, se conectó bien a la aplicación y si queda perfecto el control remoto, gir ael auto avanza y retrocede sin problemas. Me encantó y a un muy buen precio! Sin duda es mejor que carro a control remoto si. Asus hijos le gustan los legos es perfecto
