I made cheese corn with this and it was delicious. I tastes just like the kind you get in Chicago. Don't add salt, it has its own saltiness. Can't wait to make cheese and brocolli baked potato with this. It is absolutely the real deal, not just fake orange powder. It's full of flavor.

The media could not be loaded. I don't think I would be this upset if I hadn't purposely searched for a cheese powder with no additives or food coloring,found a company whose literal name is "It's Just" with giant letters on the front of their package saying "Nothing Else!"Only to find there is sunflower oil, lactose, maltodextrin, sodium phosphate, and yellow number 5 and yellow number 6 added.I know these things to be unnecessary, because I've just purchased a different brand who doesn't have all those things added (6 less ingredients!) and somehow they still produced a powdered cheese.If you don't care about this kind of junk, then maybe it's not a big deal. However it's a huge deal to make the name of your company sooo freakin misleading and then back it up with a huge tag line which is a bold faced lie.Not to mention the fact that cheddar cheese is by nature lactose free, so those who are lactose intolerant can eat it, but they went to all the trouble to add lactose back in, so thanks for the diarrhea!Buyer beware, read the ingredients carefully! I have learned the hard way that the words on the front (and back) of the package are meaningless to these people.

Primarily make cheese popcorn 🍿 But I’m sure it’s great on anything you like cheese on. LOVE IT.

This brand is the closest to the flavor on the smart popcorn you spend big $$ for that is prepackaged. Had bought another brand and did not like it. This brand really hits the spot. Pop the popcorn spray with a little oil and sprinkle on a TB or two and it is a decadent treat that is priced right and hits the spot. Glad I bought two - one white cheddar and one yellow cheddar.

I have bought other products from this company, and each time they have been truly "Just" the ingredient I was looking for. I needed to find a new source for a decent amount of dried cheese powder, and didn't think twice about trying this one out. I figutit would be "just" the cheese I was looking. My mistake was not reading the ingredients beforehand. I would have never thought the company that markets itself as selling "Just" the "premium ingredients" shown on the package...would add artificial color to this cheese powder. The bag literally says "It's Just CHEDDAR CHEESE POWDER - Nothing Else!" on both the front and back. Why, then, did these geniuses deem it necessary to add chemical food coloring?? It has Yellow #5 and Yellow #6, inexplicably, to provide a wholly unnatural color to the product. Such a shame. I didn't buy "Just Cheddar Cheese Powder" for the bright orange color, but for the flavor of pure cheese. And, even though this may be somewhat psychological, this product even tastes too artificial. Don't waste your $ here.

We've bought this numerous times in the past and it became our favorite for making gluten free Mac & cheese. From reading recent reviews It definitely has changed formulation. As other have said it used to be a very powdery blend (like powdered sugar), but now it has a consistence more like confectioners sugar (fine grit but definitely now powder). I noticed it as soon as I opened this new bag and scooped out some for Mac & cheese. I thought maybe I was remembering it wrong since we ran out and it took a while to order some more. This is a brand new bag that I just opened. I has almost no cheese taste and really just a flour taste. Thought maybe just a bad batch, but it seems that this may be the new version. I'll try reaching out to the manufacturer to see if this is just how it is now. Won't be buying it ever again if this is their formulation going forward.

I bought this last year and it was surprisingly good, but I just got a new one and the color and taste have drastically changed. It's got a weird smell and tastes very sawdusty now. I won't be buying this product again.
