Acceptable replacement
Well made. Needed to replace shift handle on older snapper. It was not an exact fit but knew that going in. Installed and works great.

Works for many different years
Not a fast change out but worth it. Installed on 2 different mowers. About 35yrs difference between them. I Used 480 channel locks to control spring pressure and another person to adjust shifter position and install pin to hold it on. Maybe an easier way. This worked twice for me.

Works well and got my snapper back mowing.
Not a clue what year my mower is but based on the reviews I was willing to try it out. Handle works good but I would suggest getting a new handle and pin for the bottom.

Does not replace 7059212
Does not fit/replace 7059212, despite description. I.e., would not work on my Snapper 28108BE. The correct handle has an indentation that fits into the gear selector. This handle is round all the way through. Of course, Amazon return was easy.

Not like the original
It has a slightly larger diameter than the OEM. It doesn't fit in the slots to lock it into gear. I bought mine 4 years ago and made do but it recently broke from the weld. The OEM lasted 12 years.
