Not to practical on my floor with the cats around. They seem to like to scatter them out of their position.

I had to wash one of the mats because of a messy dog toy. It was easy to clean, dried quickly and was easily put back into place. Thanks

This was one of the more frustrating products I've ever dealt with.The pieces aren't all exactly 12"x12", with many of them being 12" on one end, and just under 12" on the other, so I had a helluva time measuring and stretching each piece to make them fit right. It took an hour just to place 16 pieces in a square, and still it ended up being a tiny bit lopsided which I can see with a tape measure, and always see when comparing it to the wood planks that make up the surrounding floor.Plus, they shed quite a bit. I have little black pieces of it sticking to my socks and getting everywhere. For just the week I had them down, I had to vacuum on and around the tiles every day. And although from a distance it doesn't look too bad, it does have a startup company office building kind of look, not exactly a look I'm trying to achieve in my home.Finally, it left marks on my engineered hardwood floors (nice looking but rather cheap stuff they put in when they built these condos). I put the tiles under my desk chair, and I guess the pressure of me sitting in the chair caused the tiles to leave tiny gray marks on the floor. Luckily, a bit of elbow grease with a damp microfiber cloth removed the marks, but that was just after 1 week of use. I wonder what would happen over the course of a year.Giving it two stars rather than one because the bit about leaving marks is likely due to a combination of relatively cheap hardwood flooring and using the carpet tiles in an area they're not designed for. And of course the first bit is just my perfectionism kicking in. I'll be giving these away and going with a higher quality, less frustrating solution.

I have fairly steep and slippery wood laminate stairs at home which is a pretty dangerous combination. So I got these to put on the stairs to give our dogs some traction going up and down the stairs, it's worked well!The carpet tiles are thin so don't expect it to be plush underfoot but it grips wood very well and I've had no problem vacuuming over them. The tiles come 12x12" but they can be easily cut with scissors. There are other products that are made for stairs and have a wider foot print but our dogs tend to go up and down the sides of the stairs so I liked how I could cut the tiles to fit. Cutting the tiles didn't fray the product at all and they were easily repositionable without any residue on the wood at all.I would definitely recommend vacuuming or dusting your stairs before placing the tiles down as the dust will keep the backing from getting a good grip on the surface.

I originally heard about these through "Clean My Space" on Youtube... and wow. These are amazing! They stick well to both linoleum and tile, well enough that you can vacuum without them shifting; but are super easy to remove. I haven't tried washing them yet, but since they've lived up to expectations so far, I'm not too worried about washing them. I would like to eventually see more color options for the tiles, but I'm okay with the neutral colors for now. I need to order another set to replace the mat in the bathroom, and if they come out with a red or a teal, it'll go great in the kitchen!

I placed this in front of my kitchen sink and the blue ones are so dirty. I washed them once but the dirt didn't come out.

These are easy to put together but they come up on the corners causing tripping.
