Great purchase
We bought this when we bought our new 5th wheel toy hauler due to the amount of steps and not being able to reach the original handle from the bottom of the steps. An amazing difference with this handle! It made it so much easier to get in and out of the camper. Will be purchasing another soon for the other door on our 5th wheel. Lightweight and easy to install in existing holes.

Like the product. It was easy to install. After install I did add a Broom gripper to Hold it when retracted. It felt like it was a little shaky/ I added the gripper so it wouldn't scratch the trailer. When we are using it, it works well. Another problem I have with it, the screw holes do not have caps. the screws are exposed, and I feel that water will get in.

What an amazing difference it has made for entering our camper. Easy to change out. Definitely an improvement.

It's only a assist handle
Bolt pattern was slightly different than smaller original unit. Required drilling new holes. once completed seems reasonably secure. Be advised, it's only aluminum and won't take a major load of stress. It's only a assist handle, not an acrobatic pole.
