This balance is great. Its accurate, and very easy to use. For the price point, I am very impressed with how accurate it is. You can re-cal as needed to adjust. It tare out to 0.0000 every time. Will be using in our lab at work (or if we don't need in our lab, then I might use at home, for measuring hops for homebrewing. its way more accurate than I need for homebrew, but that's OK).The balance is super easy to use. Just a few buttons. Easy to tare, easy to calibrate. It comes with a 100 gram mass for calibration. Do consult the manual for calibration steps, its just a few button presses, very easy. Display is bright blue, easy to read. Before cal, it read just 0.04 g difference; and after cal was down to 0.002 grams. Really accurate! With my smaller gram set, it came within 0.016 grams (out of 38 grams). Very very good! I'm quite impressed with how accurate it is for the price point. You could easily spend lots more, for the same quality. I recommend!

This Scale seems well built , has glass windshield, and solid feel to it. Has a niceClear backlit display. It works well, I measured a quarter and I compared to other scales and seemsTo be right on Money. The windshield is not easily removable, but has three sliding doors, top, and two sides. To give easy access to weighing pan.This unit is a little on pricey side, but it does include a RS-232 port for data acquisition, which no doubt added to the cost…

This scale does work. I weighed stuff I already knew the weight and it came out accurate. It is easy and quick. Also, the machine is not too heavy and can be stored and moved easily.

Weighing plate is crooked partially due to plate construction and partially due to center pin placement. Customer should not need to identify manufacturing defects, effectively becoming company’s quality control.Scale rests on three legs, one in front, probably to improve balance, but poses a tipping issue if press front side buttons without care. Add a leg or press button with thumb, curling fingers underneath for support. Otherwise liked the scale. A battery backup would be preferred, even a 9 volt for short duration. Came with case for calibration weight,

This scale has impressed me. It is very easy to set up and level given the adjustable feet and built in bubble level. Calibration with a known weight is also very simple and the scale seems to hold it's calibration incredibly well. The shield could be removed but it isn't really built for that I think and you certainly wouldn't want to use this in a situation where you needed to switch between shielded and unshielded modes frequently. I appreciate that it has a data port but haven't encountered a need for it myself yet and have no way to test that feature. Accuracy is spot on but the scale on which I'm working is not the most precise. I am primarily using this to measure out highly accurate coffee portions. The time it takes to power on and use the unit is negligible. Overall I'm very impressed and would 100% recommend this scale to someone needing a more precise home scale option, though I think it is of a quality that would be great in a lab setting too.

The media could not be loaded. My new analytical balance has a quality look and feel, was easy for me to setup, and required only brief calibration upon my first use, as expected. The balance has good accuracy and precision, affording measurements to 3 places past the decimal point, 0.000, or to the thousandth of a gram, which I find appealing. The balance comes with a 100 gram precision weight standard to allow for my calibration to 100 grams. The balance has a relatively small bench top profile, which allows me to fit it in tight spaces on my bench. The balance has sliding glass doors on the top, and both sides which allows my access from multiple angles, which I find appealing. The balance has a leveling bubble inside the weighing area, and I can adjust the level with the adjustable feet, which is very useful. Overall I really like this balance and highly recommend it.

First of all the tripod setup that they use for the bottom is not so great. I went to turn it on, and pushed a bit hard since the buttons do require some pressure, and the whole scale tipped to the side. I thought it was going to tip right over and crack. I didn’t expect that as I thought it would have had 4 legs on the bottom for stability. Of course the reason for the tri set up is for balancing but still no good. The glass doors are just that, there’s nothing protecting the glass edges and they are somewhat sharp. When measuring objects, I would get varying measurements with the same item.

I tested the accuracy with some calibration weights and it is spot one. It is shipped with care and is packaged very well.
