This kit worked well for replacing my shattered camera lens on my iPhone mini. Definitely make sure that the lens area is cleaned well before putting the new one on. The first time I did it it wasn’t cleaned well and the camera wouldn’t focus. Thankfully, they included a second. That one worked perfectly.

I needed to replace the bottom lens. It fit perfectly but was very blurry. It would not focus. I thought maybe I put in the wrong lens but same results. I was better off leaving my cracked lens, at least I had a functional camera.

I’m going to retire from fixing newer apple devices. Baby bear cracked the back of her phone and ordered a few things for me to try and fix it. I got my heat gun setup going and tried my best, but it was too hot, the phone was too small and my eye sight isn’t what it use to be. At some point in trying to clear away broken glass, I ripped out something important and killed the phone. She has an iPhone 14 now and I have some wounds needing to heal. Fixing these new phones has become incredibly difficult and I am bowing out. The instructions are your first indication on how difficult this will be for you. If you need help with seeing them, like reading glasses or taking a picture and zooming in… This may not be the repair for you!

You get what you pay for, I only expect a tad bit better instructions as it states it sends. Other than that it worked and was cheap, what I wanted.
