Q: I can’t get the lid secured. i know it is a twist lock and i look underneath. what am i doing wrong? or did i just get a defective feeder?

I had a hard time getting the lid to lock also. I had to look from underneath while I was doing it to make sure things were lined up just right. I’m hoping when I fill it again this weekend it’s easier.

Q: What are the materials made of? Is the roof copper?

All plastic. Very cheap. Mine was delivered in several broken pieces. Returned. Would not recommend.
