I bought this for use at trade shows. Monitor rentals can run several hundred dollars per day and all I really needed was something to bring my laptop close to eye level. I've used others, most of which required assembly, but this little thing worked out of the box. While it's very stiff in operation, that's kind of the point. You don't want it collapsing under its own weight and this this was solid. When folded, it easily fit in both my backpack and suitcase. Highly recommended for anyone traveling. Ideal for trade shows.

I bought this for travel to work abroad. I found this heavy and super awkward to pack. The reviews are accurate, about the adjustment. It's really hard to adjust, but I think that helps keep it more sturdy.

Using with standing desk. Works great.

I had high hopesfor this product but to take this product from the flat position requires a extreme amount of force. Did I say extreme?If I keep it ,(still undecided) will leave it extended next to my desk in case I have to stand (sciatica issues)
