MerrellMen's Moab 3 GTX Hiking Shoe

I have searched for the perfect walking shoe for many years, I only walk at low level, through woods, fields and along the coast, not mountains. Many people wear these, so being contrary, I wore everything apart from Merrells. My loss. I should have bought them years ago. They are comfortable, supportive, and great value for money. Get a half size bigger than you usually wear though, I found my usual 10 too small, so I exchanged for a 10.5, which is perfect. Love these.

Update: 25.02.24.I ordered a pair of UK 11 Moab 3s and these were still too small in width and, I think, length so back they went.Next came some UK 11.5s which were fine for width but now a bit too long so they went back too.Finally, I ordered a pair of size 10.5 Moab 2s and, lo and behold, they were a perfect fit.I've reduced my Overall Rating to 1*. A reputable manufacturer should be able to ensure consistency of sizing.*********************This was my fifth pair of Merrell Moabs The previous ones were all Moab 2s - a mix of GTX and Vents. All were a perfect fit at UK Size 10.5.This pair of UK 10.5 Moab 3 GTXs are too small in both width and length and have been returned. I'll probably need a half size or possibly a full size bigger.It's a great shame that Merrell have not been consistent in sizing between models.

Fast delivery of exactly what I ordered

After reading the reviews that said these shoes come up small, I used the Prime Buy Before You Pay process to order 2 sizes - my usual 9 and a 91/2. Thank goodness I did - the size 9 was much too tight but the bigger size was perfect. Merrell really need to sort out their sizing!!That said, the shoes seem to be good quality - time will tell regarding their comfort and durability
