solid and gets the job done nicely

These are sharp but do get very hot on hard wood. I used a damp rag on the shaft to keep it cooler and avoid burning the wood.Had to use drill press to keep it stable. Don’t recommend handheld drill/driver.

I purchase this set along with the snappy drill/countersink bits. The plugs fit perfectly into the counter bored holes from the drill/cs bits. The spring loaded point on the plug cutters mark the small end of the tapper plugs so you know the correct orientation for installation.I like to cut a few dozen plugs and have them handy when assembling my projects.

These are okay but not great. not as sharp as they should be leaving a rough finish on the plugs
