I have needed these for my lavalier mics for ages--why did I wait so long.The "dead-cat" style ones work perfectly in the wind, and the small black foam style ones are super pro and good for plosives on the mics. They both fit my 8mm lavaliers perfectly and snugly.They should have come with the mics I got years ago!5 of each. I'm good for life with this simple set of windscreens.

These are the most cost-effective option I've found. You get the foam and the muff combo which is important for the best wind reduction. I haven't tested in high winds, but for me it works great for field recording in low noticeable wind. The fit is extremely tight in my 11mm homemade mics. I destroyed the elastic on 1 of the 4 setting them up and the mics with them now installed will live that way forever. Still the best deal I've found on these. I'm sure there are better options for more wind protection with longer hair muffs and rubber gaskets at the bottom. I'm sure there are easier versions to install. These are perfect for me to make several cheap and effective field recording mics. I would guess for something like the Clippy EM272, you would have to get a bigger muff and for a 5-6mm lav you probably could get this to work, but you'll have to waste your own $9 on that experiment.

I lost my foam cover to one of my mini mics and needed that fixed asap. So glad there's a pack that I could buy.In a normal environment, the regular muffs work really well. However when using in a loud environment, i.e. a concert or party with loud speakers, it somewhat reverbs a person's voice and makes it seem very robotic. I have yet to try the windscreen though I'm not sure how that would work in a loud-sound setting.

It sounds good, stays on the mic, and looks great without spending that much.

I saw these being used by some pretty professional photographers at a wedding.They are lovely they're just not for me so I have to return them. The reason is because the microphone itself will not plug into my phone Unless I take off the Otterbox. My phone is way too expensive. And I will not take it out of its protective case Unless I am sitting in the middle of my bed at home.

I got these for my gaming headsets. I have several headsets with microphones and I also live directly across the street from a police station and a hundred feet from them is a fire station. And for me background noise is a constant issue. A few nights ago it sounded like the world was ending but no one in my group chat heard any of it. 10 outta 10

This is a great buy; just a little too small for my headset mic. It still works, it just isn't as secure as I'd like because it doesn't cover the whole mic piece. I still gave 5 stars because it really is meant for a smaller mic, the kind that clips to your shirt, that was my mistake.I like to chat on the phone while I'm walking places. My family and fiance have reported little to no wind sounds and my voice sounds much clearer to them, even on a windy day.

Bought these to replace one I lost with the DJI wireless mic. This means I won't be using it as a lavalier mic wind shield but will be affixing it to the top of the mic unit.That being said the quality of these seems very good. There is very little loss of any fur and the opening seems well made and neat.The colour is good and considering you get 6 per pack I think these are good value for money.Recommended!

Easy to install on lav mics, literally less than a minute. Definitely a great improvement on sound. If you are a vlogger, must consider buying this one, great help.

Lost the spongey head to my Rode lavalier and couldn’t find an OEM replacement. But these hold on tighter and doesn’t fall off!
