Whiteside 1/4" Ball Round Nose CNC Router Bit, 1/8" R, 3/4" CL, 1/4" SH, Two Flute

Less expensive than some of my other bits, my Whiteside bits perform well, and this one is no exception. Keep them clean, do your maintenance, and these will last you.

First off, I was very pleased to find a US-based manufacturer of bits. This bit worked very well in my Shaper Origin Handheld CNC. Feels like it will hold its edge for a good amount of time/cuts. Thanks. I’ll definitely be purchasing other bits.

These are quality carbide bits you get from Whiteside. Definitely a step up from your typical ebay/china bits. I've used this bit for about 8 projects since I got it, mostly roughing 3d toolpaths in wood. So far under a scope I've seen no signs of dulling. I'm impressed. I'm used to $100 + industrial grade endmills and I would not hesitate to use these in steel.

Ok, so I broke a bit, but it was my fault. Tip: Turn your router on before you start running your g-code. Once I learned that simple trick, these blades last and last.I do wish that whiteside would start focusing more on helping people with feed speed calculations and all that like freud has on their website.This is a great whiteside bit.
