I thoroughly enjoyed this latest offering by Alizée. This may be her best album to date. It has a sixties vibe to it and I feel all the songs are quite appealing. I haven't been able to get the song "Happy End" out of my head since I first heard it. Many of the songs are quite danceable with a solid beat, but there are also a few beautiful ballads such as "Dans Mon Sac" and "Mon Chevalier". If you are looking for something different and not afraid to explore the world of non-English music, then give this album a try. For Alizée fans, buying this album is a no-brainer.

This album is wonderful - not even one dud, and for a change (a good change imo) - no songs in English.I love this album and I'm buying another one for my dad as a birthday gift. The man who taught me to appreciate French music deserves to enjoy this pleasure in a package! :)Retro rules!

Mostly disappointed when compared to prior works. A couple of good songs at best, the others lacked a well thought out performance. Plus the fact I really hate she has indulged in tattoos on that beautiful skin of hers. I now cannot unsee those tats !

Wow, wonderful retro euro-pop compositions showing various influences with a high and tight presentation - interspersed with some beautiful ballads as we typically expect from Alizee. Makes me want to cruise in an open old MGB or TR6 along the southern coast of France(and no, I have never been there). Hope she does a comeback tour with some retro costuming and choreography ambiance matching with the music. Well done Alizee and company! Of course I fall for anything Alizee. Etre toujours mon coeur qui bat.

Very good album. Alizee is drifting away from her "pop" recordings to a slower beat. Entire album is in French. I do not understand a word of it. Simply like the sound of her voice and the music.

I like Alizée a lot. Her previous CD before this one had no beat or style to it at all, and I don't like it. No matter how many times I listened to it and I do have all of her CDs. At first I didn't care for this much either, it sounded old, a lot of style from the 60s I would say, which really isn't for me. I have to admit, it has grown on me and I do like it now. I would recommend this one.

Loved it. Interestingly all the songs seem to be less than 3 minutes but they are upbeat and I love the album.

Alizee once again produces an album of delights. I am happy to admit I adore the Corsican Queen of Pop and she delivers with a varied mix of grown up pop. On Je Veux Bien, Alizee's precise phrasing and vocal dexterity are showcased to stunning effect. No other singer could deliver this superb song in the same way.There are beautiful ballads in the stripped down Mon Chevalier and Jeune Fille, and lively up tempo numbers in Boxing Club and Le Dournier Souffle. And A Cause De L'Automne is another classy tune.And Happy End is another catchy melody. It is about time Alizee got wider recognition as the Gallic genius of pop she is. For those that don't know, the songs with English names are, in fact, in French. But this is a positive even for English speakers like me, as to get the authentic Alizee sound she has to sing in French.
