I can say this is THE book that inspired me to self publish my own. Beautiful storytelling within her poems, the layout is well thought out, overall a joy to read and re-read.

I will read any poetry that’s recommended to me simply because poetry synopsis rarely give you any insight to the book your considering and true poetic talent is rare. So I simply give everything a shot. I bought this book because I was watching a makeup favorites YouTube video and the YouTuber talked more about this book and poet than she did anything else. I’m so glad she did because this is one of the BEST poetry books I’ve read in a few years. So well done. Such a driving force and energy. Topics of home and belong so well handled. I’m sending a copy of this book to a friend that I know will enjoy it as well.

I love Pavana Reddy. I'm obsessed with anything she does. I like her second book a lot more than the first, but I gifted this to my sister and she LOVED it! I have Where Do You Go Alone on my vanity and I read it EVERY NIGHT before bed because it talks to my soul. She is an incredible writer and anyone who reads her work is going to fall in love with it.

I have such a sentimental connection with this book. Rangoli is amalgamation of different colors that ends up creating a magnificent piece of art. Pavana’s poetry is just like that.. when I started reading it.. I felt like all the words came together to create this beautiful emotion that was just meant for me. This is such a beautiful and heartfelt book! The only reason I am not giving it 5 stars is that I was excited to read 200+ poems based on the number of pages listed in the description, but actually you get half of that, because the poems are only on one side and the other is left blank...Aesthetically speaking, it is a gorgeous book, but practically speaking...It waste a lot of paper and you are getting half of what you paid for. Still worth purchasing, though...

"Rangoli" is one of the most beautiful, profound and heartfelt pieces of work I have read in a long time. Pavana's poetry is raw and real, and it is very easy to feel her heart as you go through its pages. I was taken on an emotional journey through this book, with every page and poem showing a different part of her AND of myself. It is relatable on every level. I am so incredibly glad to have read this, and discovered Pavana as a poet and writer. I highly recommend this book, you will not be disappointed.

A stunning, powerful celebration of the strength and delicacy of brown women. I have dipped into it lots of times; these bite-sized poems are easy to read but the words hit hard. A necessary addition to any migrant bookshelf. I personally love the layout and design, too.
