Buy 5 or more! You'll need to give away many copies!
Life Life in Crescendo supports my own personal philosophy of continual growth and contribution AND it greatly expanded my vision for what is possible and deepened my desire to make an impact. Thank you Cynthia for bringing your father's Opus to the world. I am SO happy to have this additional gift from Stephen Covey. I started reading his books when I was a teenager. Now, nearing my 50th year of life, he has taught, inspired and motivated me to better myself and the world - again.Buy many copies of this book. I've already sent several copies to friends who were recently laid off and are thinking about new careers and older friends who are recently "retired" and are searching for new purpose. Its also a great gift for those who are younger - to envision and plan their life well beyond 65.I've always wanted to live to be "a healthy 100", now I'm inspired to Crescendo to 100!! Thank you Cynthia and Stephen!

So inspiring and practical
I have read other books by Covey and enjoyed them. THis was his last one and was finished by his daughter because he passed away before finishing it. I have really taken my time with this one because at times it felt like I was trying to get a drink from a fire hydrant--so many great suggestions and ideas and loved the personal examples as I tend to learn more that way than by reading generalities. This would be a great gift for a retirement party.

Next chapter
If you have read Covey’s books on “ highly effective habits” in the workplace, you’ll love this book on how to approach what’s next.

Covey's "Crescendo"
Living life to the fullest - all the way to the end !!! Is there a better way to go out? I heartily applaud this book written by Covey and his daughter. Well researched and easy to enjoy - with time to think and be encouraged by the thought processes. As a musician, I enjoyed the musical terms fit to another part of my life. Crescendo!!

Encouraging, Affirming, and Relevant
An amazing read! This is the kind of book I will refer to all my life. Living a life in crescendo means your best work is always ahead of you (instead of behind you), which is such a hopeful and relevant message and one that inspires me to continue contributing. The stories are abundant and meaningful—from people all over the world and from all walks of life. You are never too old to make a difference for good. I loved reading this book!

Uplifting and Inspiring Book for Mid-Career Professionals
I had an opportunity to pre-order this book before it was actually published since I am an avid follower of Franklin Covey news. It really helped me at a time in my career where I was feeling stagnant as a mid-level professional and working parent.I recommend this book for anyone who is undergoing any transitions in their life as it will give you a perspective to navigate the changes and get to the other side of hope, contribution, and significance at every stage of your life. There are still many goals I want to pursue that are within my reach.Such a great read that I ordered another copy to give my mentor on his 80th Birthday who’s FIRED up after reading the book to continue to contribute his knowledge and wisdom to positively impact his local community.Thank you Cynthia for bringing the vision of this concept and book to fruition with your father.

Incredible concepts!
I really liked this book because I am in love with the idea of always having something great to work towards. So many people retire and think that’s the end, but it’s just the opposite. No matter what stage of life you are in, the best part of life is always ahead of you! This is a brilliant concept! It gives so much hope! I’m going to give this book to all my friends at Christmas. A wonderful read.

I wish my dad, step-dad & father-in-law could have learned this.
While reading this I reflected on family members who gave up on being a part of family and life years before their passing. What a waste those final years were when there was so much more they could have offered to family and friends. I bought copies of this book and gave to family & friends who have suffered loss through death of a loved one or an unexpected divorce or perceived failure in life. I appreciated the examples and charge for us to keep on striving to be our best selves.

An amazing piece of work.
Simply a fantastic piece of work. When you start reading this book, you will have difficulty putting it down. Cynthia has done an amazing job pulling all of this together, and we should all be grateful that this joint project between her and her father is shared with us. If you have read other Covey books, you will love this. If you are new to the work of Coveys, this book will lead you to read more. Thank you, Cynthia, for completing this project and for sharing this with us all.

Disappointing
Before I begin, I think it's important to state that I'm a huge fan of 7 Habits and First Things First. I was quite disappointed with Covey's "8th Habit", as well as this book. Given A. Roger Merrill's input on 7 Habits and First Things First, I wonder if his absence on Covey's subsequent books explains the - in my opinion - unoriginal and uninspired material. However the most disappointing part of Live Life in Crescendo appears on page 36. Quote:"Many years ago I inadvertently cam across a powerful idea [...] Though I've never been able to track down the source or the author... "The "powerful idea" appeared in 7 Habits:"Between stimulus and response there is a space. In that space is our power to choose our response. In our response lies our growth and our freedom."The above "powerful idea" is from the late Dr. Viktor E. Frankl.I'm not sure what the editors of this book were thinking (or implying), but in 7 Habits, Covey specifically attributes the quote to Frankl. Moreover, Covey mentions Frankl throughout the book as having a huge impact on his thinking.
