True Discipleship: The Art of Following Jesus

Covers the essentials very well and provides much-needed biblical clarity to help Christians navigate through the rough terrain of this world in order to grow in Christ and know Him better.

I received this book recently and have started digging in to it. Although I have not finished this book completely as of yet, I can tell you already that I am very pleased with it. It is (thus far) an in-depth, Scripture-filled book on what it really means to be a disciple. In today's society of "cultural Christianity" (i.e., going to church because that's just the thing to do - especially down here in the Deep South) that has little or no impact on one's *daily* life, this book and its accompanying workbook (ordered separately) are very much needed. If you are serious about getting to KNOW God and following Him in your DAILY LIFE, I would say this is a great book to have in your library.

This is one of the best Discipleship tools one can have in their library. God had me loan this book out to several people, so they could gain the insightful teachings of John Koessler. Excellent Book. This workbook give you a real Bible workout. I challenges your faith and Bible knowledge as well.I would have liked to know that there was so much homework, but then the very idea of the study isa personal review of your faith.

Excellent...read it slowly and take lots of notes...excellent. Not for the casual reader. Definitely meditate on every page and pray for the H.S. to guide you in application.

Thought it was very informative for those that are desiring to search out discipleship in their own life, and in the lives of others.

I use it daily. An essential tool in my relationship building with Christ Jesus, I highly recommend for the believer and non believer alike.
