Exactly What Your Older TV Needs
Bought a top of the line Samsung 1080p 65” TV back in 2013. My Samsung surround sound unit happened to crap out on me in 2017. So this year I decided to upgrade to a Sonos surround system. That’s when I found out that it doesn’t pass 5.1 through to the Soundbar. This fit the bill to a “T”. Now I can enjoy heart-pounding bass, crisp vocals, and the mids in 5.1 surround. Works great for the TV, PS3, and PS4. I bought this for when I make the move to 4K (but I love 3D movies too much to make the switch right now). So I have not yet attempted to see how well it does with a 4K signal. If I could find one fault, I just wish the remote was Bluetooth. I will definitely recommend this to my friends.

It works very well.
I have been using it for over 6 weeks now and it works fine. Many combinatins are confusing at first, but does a good job with HD and 3D movies also. Can run 2 inputs and 2 separate outputs at the same time or 1 input to both outputs at the same time. Only the A output for the audio fiber cable conection. Surround sound system. A good choice.

XboX One X wouldn’t recognize the TV as a 4K device behind this
I have a samsung 4K TV. When connected directly to the TV, my Xbox One X recognizes the 4K capability of the TV and works as expected. When connecting thru this switch, the Xbox One does not recognize any 4K capabilities on the TV and thus works at a max of 1080p.

My tv is fairly old and only displays up to 720p so everything good there, but my monitor is 4K
It does the job fairly well. I have all 6 HDMI ports in use for all my different electronics connected to my monitor and tv- both 32”. My tv is fairly old and only displays up to 720p so everything good there, but my monitor is 4K; one of the ports on this matrix is occupied by my Dell Dock for my laptop. My laptop has a 4K screen and with the Dell Dock, I can output up to two 4K monitors. So the laptop is connected to the dock directly and the dock has an output going straight to the matrix. But when all goes back to the monitor I can only get up to 1080 and even that doesn’t show as the recommended resolution. When I eliminate the matrix everything is working great so I know the fault is in the matrix. I have tried many things to get it resolved without any success. It almost feels like it doesn’t actually support 4K even though it says it does.

I love it! But it gives me the scare once in awhile
So I have this hooked up to 2 wall mounted TV's and I have 2 glass door enclosed TV Stands / Entertainment cabinets. Reason: b/c I have babies. Anyways I have this HDMI Switch hooked up to Comcast Cable Box, Nintendo Switch, Xbox One, Steam Link & Surround Sound system. All in different cabinets so I have 1 Long TosLink to surround to HDMI Switch and 1 Long HDMI to that TV. The lagg is minimal on that side of things. The remote is very helpful and I love the light layout on the front of the HDMI Matrix Switch. It made explaining and tracking which TV is on which HDMI a breeze compared to having the lights in 1 row like other devices. This is probably the biggest reason I went for this model. Here's the scares I mentioned... And I hope this helps others troubleshoot their own issues as well.1. As you test the new device and plug and unplug HDMI's in different slots. Your TV may say no feed or nothing connected. Or it may give a weird colored picture on the TV. What has happened is the HDMI cord has pushed on all your other cords and probably unpluged them slightly from your TV or devices. Don't jam the cords in, just unplug, then replug at all devices to ensure it's connected, also check the power is on. I thought my HDMI Switch broke a few times, when it was just wires coming undone.2. If you change the output to, let's say your Xbox One, to your 1st TV, Then share it to the 2nd TV... it may display a funky color or cracking, or just a mess like if it's broken... it's not... What is happening is your original source device, like in this example the Xbox One is getting information from the 1st TV on it's resolution. And when you share it to the 2nd TV, it'll still be trying to feed the display the same settings to that 2nd TV... And if this is happening, it's most likely b/c your 1st TV and 2nd TV are different in some way. In my case, it's b/c my 1st TV is 1080i max and my 2nd TV is 720i max... (See attach image for bug) Either-way, the fix is simple, don't share to those TV's in the order... In my case, I put the Xbone on 2nd TV first... Then share it to 1st TV. The 1st TV can handle the output that 2nd TV is receiving. Also if this happens when just switching outputs, give the Xbone some time to process that the HDMI changed. It's the same issue really.Hope this helps everyone freaking out like me. Enjoy :-)

SAVE YOUR MONEY!
None of my displays (TV and Monitors) will show what is connected to the unit. Monitors just flicker on and off thinking there might be a signal but it never comes through and is displayed. TV will not properly display computer output through the unit but will when connected directly to the computer.

HDMI 6x2 matrix switcher
The unit works very good. All features work as advertised. I like the no auto switch feature...........I prefer the manual switch (with remote or buttons on unit)...less problems that way. Good over-all product. I did find out that this unit is not HDCP 2.2 rated. I was asked by a buyer what HDCP was it. I inquired with NOVETE if it was HDCP 2.2 and they answered it is not. They did not say what HDCP it was if any.

Works nicely
All worked as expected, very happy with the device.the only thing I don't like is the range of the remote control that is very limited around 6 feet in my case.other than that I am very please with the device. The instructions are very limited.
