Good quality and reasonable working distance
The most important thing with using a microscope for soldering is getting a decent zoom while still being able to get a soldering iron underneath and this is known as the working distance. The long distance lens which comes with this set is very good as you can see from the first two photos. Plenty of room to work and very usable magnification. Fully lowered there is much less room but still usable. As with all of this type of microscope you loose depth perception and don't have so much control over the positioning which can be an issue with larger objects. However it is much cheaper than a stereo microscope with a boom arm which is what you would otherwise need

Want to solder like a pro ?
Well packaged box with everything well protected, the assembly instructions are simple and very clear. The unit once constructed is a good looking piece of equipment . This thing is amazing….easy to use from both the front panel on the display or by using the remote. The display is clear and has a good viewing angle. I can’t stress enough how much easier this makes soldering. Surface mount work is now so much easier where before it was a job I dreaded. It’s great value for money simple but functional…it’s a tool that I will never be without again, I can’t believe how good it is. Highly recommend if you are looking to get a digital microscope.

Good but needs improving
The microscope is great for inspection work, with nice clear optics, and good picture quality. However, for electronics repair work, the stage/platform is not very helpful. The clips are of no use when working on small mobile phone boards, even with the extendable arm pushed all the way back. The vertical mount doesn't let you see into the back of micro USB type sockets to check solder joints - you'll need a spanner to tilt the mount forward so that the camera can give a good view - if the hex bolt were replaced with a knob or lever, this could improve usability. The main issue for me, and the reason I returned this item, is that even with the camera at the top of the stand, there's very little space between the recommended 'L' lens and the platform, to use a hot air wand, soldering iron, or meter probes. This, coupled with the platform being the wrong shape/size for some boards, left me feeling it wasn't ideal 'as is' for SMD repair work. I know some repairers on YouTube use these all the time, so your experience may be different... If you just need a digital microscope for inspection/examination then this thing is very good.

Is excellent
Is great for the grandchildren for pondwter etc. But, more importantly, is also good for the fine electronic tasks and tidying up 'whickers' in home made PCBs. Has not been in heavy use but is fine. It might require some patience in setting up if you are non-technical, but I find it ok.

Great microscope for the price.
I'd highly recommend this microscope. With the three lenses it has versatility. I use mine with the L lens for close up PCB work. It has a great working range and has the ability to stream through the HDMI port at the same time as viewing the work piece on the 7" screen. Ideal for viewing on a bigger screen. The picture quality of the built in screen is very good compared to other microscopes. The image quality from the camera sensor is also impressive.Thr are a few things to bear in mind though. The UHD resolution along with it's 1080p 60fps capability is for recording on to the SD card only and not the output resolution of the HDMI port or via USB. Also it's not a true 4K resolution as the aspect ratio at that setting is 4:3 and not 16:9.And if you wonder what the 3.5mm jack socket is for, which is sometimes hidden under a QC sticker, it's for an optional endoscope camera.Overall I would definitely recommend this microscope over others. You won't be disappointed.

It's OK
but if I knew when I bought it what I know now I wouldn't have bought it.. This has been said before but the stand is really not that good, it's a bit restricted in movement but quite sturdy. An aquaintance has a different model but on his model the lenses are different, with his you can use lenses from other manufacturers and I assumed being the same brand this would be the same. My aquaintance has switched in an aftermarket wide angle lens for working on larger objects like pc motherboards. This one has a different l;ens system, in Adonstars words after I asked them "Hi. The bottom side of the lenses need to have specific threaded holes to install the screws to assemble the lens to the microscope, these are unique to Andonstar and cannot be used with other lenses" If I had known that before buying I would not have bought this. I am now restricted to the three plastic lenses they supplied with the scope. This should be made clear on the sales page. Very disapointed, the lenses provided are really not very good, the picture is good enough but I am now restricted to these lenses when I would have liked a wide angle lens for the same reason my aquaintance has one to enable work on larger items plus I intended to buy a better quality lens. I am replacing the stand with a boom from microphones to enable completely free movement but so disapointed about the lens. I don't understand why they would restrict these devices in this way.EDIT - Still annoyed about the lens not being able to be replaced with standard lenses but looking into a way to have an adapter 3D printed, anyway decided to make the best of what I had. THe stand that comes with this microscope is really restrictive with no real movement which is just about useable with miniature pcb's but when it comes to something bigger say a PC motherboard it really is a problem. To get around this issue I have removed the stand and added a Microphone boom arm. An idea I had seen talked about on some forums. Anyway I had some success and you can see the results in my pics. I can now move the scope around very easily and because of the way these boom arms work the scope always retains the same aspect relative to the work bench. I can almost cover the whole bench with it. The circular light leaves no shadow meaning a perfect view all of the time. Very pleased with the results.

Excellent
This does everything I ever wanted to be able to see closeup. Works great for circuit boards and fine detail painting of miniatures. Highly recommend!

Great scope, feels cheap but works fantastically. Just needs semi-careful handling.
I was a bit weary when taking it out of the box--it feels cheap. Cheap plastic, metal, etc. I can't speak for longevity, so hopefully it lasts me a while. But it works surprisingly well. HDMI output is fantastic, and can work as a web cam. They also have propriety software. I couldn't get it to work, but I received a support response very quickly that solved the problem. However, if they put the latest drivers on their website I wouldn't have had to reach out to support. It's possible I just didn't see where that download was. Either way, their support was fantastic. This seems like the "cheap" option, but it's surprisingly useful. It can record video, take screenshots, and these are exportable via USB or you can pop in a microSD card (also included).Uses mini hdmi to hdmi for video output, and it also includes an HDMI cable.I wish it would have included a downwards facing right angle HDMI (it includes two right angle usb cables--one for power/lights, the other for PC connection) but that's the only piece of kit that I thought was lacking. The instructions are clear, but there are a few details missing. As for the microscope operation it's decent. Doesn't feel professional grade, but it functions almost as well--and it works for checking out tiny issues on circuit boards. I was able to fix a few things I couldn't before, so that's exciting. It's cheapness does, unfortunately, come into play for some aspects. It's coarse adjustment is rough--it's just two collars, one locks and the other serves as a sort of stop so you can lock it where you want. Its fine adjustment is smooth and works predictably, however--and that's really the most important one. There is a digital zoom that is also pretty good.I don't like the fact that not all of the functionality on the unit is able to be adjusted for with just the controls on the display itself. Instead, you have to use the remote to access some functions and menus you can't otherwise. That means that losing the remote bricks some of the device's functionality.the 7 inch screen is clear, and good enough. HDMI and USB output is a plus, though outputting with USB puts a bit black box on the device's screen, almost forcing you to use the computer monitor. Outputting in HDMI doesn't have this problem, and I ended up using a capture card to grab clean HDMI output while using the scope's display without the USB black box obstruction.Overall, I'd recommend it as an affordable option--and it functions as well as some of the ~$400 dollar scopes I've used. I'm honestly impressed with its functionality. It does, however, FEEL cheap. And I don't know how long some of these parts are for.I also didn't use it for any at home biology observing--even though it comes with a light box/glass slide holder (it also comes with spring-tension slide clips for stereoscopic type viewing). I didn't use the light box or check out the slides, but it's really cool that they included it.

Imágenes claras
Es un microscopio de muy buena calidad y ofrece imágenes muy claras, además de tener suficiente espacio entre el lente y el objeto observado para trabajar cómodamente
